I travel a great deal; I am a teacher. I have to honestly say that this property is the best run hotel In the New England regions. It is on the best beach for walking and absorbing rays - day and night. The most special part of the resot are the people who help run it. From the GM John, Ann Marie, Lisa and Lori - truly exceptional customer service. These employees actually listen to each customer; their resourcefullness and follow-up is the best. Kudos for having the best resort on the Cape!

Room Tip: They have many styles of rooms and suites. I suggest being open and honest with the front desk staff...

Stayed early June, still off season enough to avoid the crowd and enjoy peace/quiet. An excellent location beautiful beach front which is swept dailey and tended to by staff. Chairs/ umbrellas provideded. A beautiful pool both for adults /children. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast Buffet provided at the Riviera as part of the stay beyond the coffee/donut with China/silverware and attentive / friendly staff. Although we had a basic room facing the parking lot, we could still see/smell the ocean and walk 20 seconds to the beachfront. Nothing beyond basic room needed if not staying in room all day and enjoying the ocean or day trips...Occupancy was Lower at off season so parking lot and room noise was far less. Room was decent size, some updating with newer carpet, no room odors , and daily service. Bathroom needs some updating with toilet that is nearly ground level, not water saving efficient, and flooring/grout needs severe cleaning/replacement in bath and ajoining area. No fitness center not even in the sister Units nearby. Overall though a great find, give it a 4 out of 5, very good to excellent, and would stay again ( off season in June, Sept or October would be my choice and ideal to avoid the crowd and Traffic which is horrendous)

We stayed two nights for an anniversary getaway at the Red Jacket Beach Resort, and we were enjoying ourselves so much that we extended the trip with a one-night stay at the Red Jacket's sister resort, the Riviera Beach Resort, just down the road. The Riviera is very clean with a nice pool complex that is divided between a shallow kiddie area and an adult area. Plenty of lounge chairs for both the pool and the beach. The beach is wide and white sugar sand... no beach shoes needed. A buffet breakfast was included with the room which was quite nice. The on-site restaurant served us dinner, and my wife said that the lobster roll she ate was the best she ever had. Barbara our bartender made us a tasty frozen mudslide for dessert. The staff is wonderful... very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back.

Room Tip: There are very few direct oceanfront rooms. We opted for a room with a pool view and ocean view and...

Ok, yes it is outdated (but clean and NOT musty smelling), but NOT disappointing! If you want to stay ON the ocean and stay in your room (NOT), then yes you may be disappointed if you are looking for a 5 star hotel. We stayed at another hotel and decided to stay an extra night. So we drove along the ocean and based on some reviews, dropped in to the Riviera. STAFF WAS SO KIND and welcoming, booked a room at a very reasonable rate for being literally ON the ocean sands. They gave us the best room of the resort, we walked out of our slider onto a small porch which stepped down INTO the sand of a private beach. It was so beautiful we ordered in and had our anniversary dinner overlooking the ocean. The manager came to our door and treated us to a coupon for a free breakfast, which was delicious and not a continental breakfast, it was a sit down order anything from the menu breakfast (which was reasonable if you had to pay and delicious!). We are going back every anniversary, it was quiet during this time of year and so relaxing. I'm sure since it caters to children, it might be a bit different during the on season, which is when I would bring my kiddos!

This place is all about location. With its own private beach and a great pool, it checks the right boxes for a family vacation destination. I was given a room with a magnificent view. Quick and very friendly check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. I found the room to be modern and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated.
The only shortcoming was that no food (except breakfast) was served on the property. They did have a beach shack on their sister property (Blue Water) available; but it's not the same. My request would be to have a functional restaurant/ coffee shop on property with room service.

Overall a great place for families. Would love to stay with them again.

Room Tip: Any room with an ocean and pool view should be fine.

It is ocean front. That could be the only thing going for the resort. The rooms are very very outdated. New carpets and bathroom are very much needed! The doors dead lock does not work. We are currently in the resort and I'm so disappointed I decided to write the review now.
It's chilly, so we decided not to swim outside. We brought our 3 yr old daughter to the indoor pool. It may have well been in someone's back yard. The murky water and amount of dirt and ants (big carpenter ants) was ridiculous. The pool area was just a mess!!
I'm truly hoping that tomorrow's weather is nice so as to sit on the beach. Otherwise we are leaving early. I expected so much more in a Red Jacket Resort.

Spent a nice warm spring weekend there with some friends. Had a great time, the rooms were clean (which is what I really care about) and the service was great as well. Its very nice and relaxing there. I read some reviews that the bathrooms were dirty and the furniture was old but I thought the furniture looked up to date, our room and bathroom were very clean and so were our towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable and soft! It's hard to find good prices at such a good location, I will definitely be going back this summer!

Room Tip: Asked for a late checkout and they said no problem! So we got to sleep in.
