We had a room on the first floor facing the courtyard. We could walk out our sliding glass door right to the pool. The complete property is immaculet. The restaurant has great breakfasts at very reasonable prices and the staff is outstanding. We will be back next July.

Room Tip: Try to get a first floor room facing the courtyard. It is quiet and convenient for pool use.

Dear Retired22,
We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us this summer and are planning on returning next summer. If you get a chance to visit us in the fall, Cape Cod is very beautiful then as well and there are still plenty of activities.

Excellent location to take-in all of Cape Cod. Stayed 2 nights. Free parking on premises. Room was super clean. We had a king size bed with loads of pillows. Bed was very comfortable. Our room also came with hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mini-fridge, coffee maker, radio alarm clock, flat screen TV with free showtime, free WiFi, but no microwave oven. Bathroom also very clean and big. There are 2 floors to this hotel. Most rooms have a nice, small balcony/patio with a small table and 2 chairs. Free coffee & tea available in the lobby 24/7. No continental breakfast here, but there is a small restaurant on the premises where you can buy cooked-to-order breakfast. I would say average price for breakfast was around $6.95. Food was excellent. No lunch or dinner service at this restaurant...only breakfast. Small bar located in lobby area situated under a greenhouse of windows overlooking the outdoor pool. The bar presently serves beer and wine only. There are 2 swimming pools! The outdoor pool is sparkling clean as is the indoor pool. The indoor pool is fabulous! There is also a jacuzzi whirlpool located inside. It too is sparkling clean! Pool towels available as well as lounge chairs. There is a small exercise room off the indoor pool area with 2 treadmills, 2 stairsteppers, a weight/leg machine, floor mats and flat screen TV's. This is a no-smoking facility. You must walk outside to smoke, or perhaps, off the terrace of your room. This hotel is also equipped with a coin-operated community laundry facility, (one washer and one dryer). Laundry detergent can be purchased inside the laundry room. There is a wonderful ice cream store, next door, only a few feet from the hotel. There is also a restaurant directly across the street as well as several little shops. You can drive less than a mile in either direction, (or walk or ride a bicycle), and find a bowling center; Walgreen's; CVS; McDonald's; tons of seaside stores; and tons of inexpensive restaurants. If you like lobster, Cape Cod is the place to gorge yourself cheap!!! The Boat House offers twin lobsters for $19.99! There is another seafood restaurant where 2 of you can eat for $20.00 with a fried fish, shrimp and scallops platter! From this hotel, you can also drive 45-minutes to Woods Hole and hop the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. You are also about a 5-minute drive to Hyannis and the JFK museum. Downtown Hyannis offers a variety of trendy and local restaurants, shops, art, etc. Many beaches are a short drive with plenty of parking, but be forewarned that you have to pay for parking at many of the beaches. I would recommend the "Corporation Beach" in the town of Dennis. It sits along Cape Cod Bay. The water is calm and warm, unlike the ocean waves. Nice, big spacious beach with rest rooms. There is also a snack bar, but it doesn't open until July 4th. Bring a small cooler w/sandwiches if you want! The front desk staff at this Clarion hotel is also wonderful and very helpful with directions to various places. Overall, our stay was extremely enjoyable. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this hotel. The value for the money was also very good. My only negative would be that their WiFi internet service is very slow.

Dear N2newz,
We can't thank you enough for writing such a thorough review of our property and your visit to our beautiful Cape Cod. A few updates for you; during the summer months of July and August you can have lunch from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm outside at our poolside grille. The menu consists of a selection of wraps, salads and of course hamburgers and hotdogs.
In addition, we have just added a marketplace to our lobby area so that if you miss lunch or have a late night craving, you can grab a sandwich, salad or snack in the new marketplace.
It is our hope that these additional conveniences, will help to make a more relaxing and enjoyable stay for our guests. Thanks for visitng us, we hope to see you again!

Along rt 28. Not too far from many Hyannis attractions. It is across from a Hearth and Kettle restaurant and next to an ice cream place. The courtside rooms face the pool. They were quiet, clean and comfortable.

We stayed at your establishment just a couple of weeks ago and were thoroughly impressed...right from the moment that we entered the lobby... and then our room. We ended up staying with you for 3 nights..we were so happy and content!! It was our home away from home, for sure. The attention to detail with regard to cleanliness is "award-winning"...as you know!! The breakfast...although intially, I was disappointed that there was a cost...I managed to over-look that detail...when I was so happy with the room...as well...when the breakfast was so good..(homecooked).

Your staff are the "nicest" and most "cheerful" bunch we interacted with, during our whole vacation...and we'd like for you to express our "thanks" to them all:):):)...lobby staff, bartenders, housemaids and kitchen staff...they are great!!

You are in our "book-of-recommends" to family and friends....and without a blink, will be back to stay with you next time we're in the area.

We spent 5 nights here from 6/18-6/23 & it was, to say the least, a very enjoyable experience. The staff was accommodating & efficient, including allowing us to change rooms from the one they'd assigned.. The room was immaculate, including providing glassware rather than plastic glasses. Grounds were well maintained & secure with a constant maintenance presence. Extra added touches were coffee in lobby available all day & free local newspapers. Cape Cod Creamery with a 10% discount is a definite added perk! Property is located at a central location on the Cape, accessible to everything from Cape Cod League Baseball to Provincetown within a reasonable distance. We didn't use restaurant or bar but it was available.

We attended a nephew's wedding over the weekend and booked three rooms at the Clarion. All were exceptionally clean, comfortable and roomy. We had stayed at this property many years ago (operating then under a different name) and we were extremely pleased to see the upgrade to the rooms and the outside. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. We used the indoor and the outdoor pools and they were both well maintained and clean. Though, we believe the nightly rate to be a bit high for the time of year (6/17 & 18), we would definitely think about staying here again.

So nice of you to take the time to write a review based on your recent stay with us here at the Clarion Inn. Our owners built the hotel 25 years ago and decided to renovate in 2009 and join Choice Hotels as a Clarion Inn. They are still involved in managing the hotel on a day to day basis and have put together a staff that is very customer oriented and pays attention to details.
We are open year round, so we hope that you will stay with us again on your next visit to Cape Cod.

We returned this year to stay at the Clarion , and once again had a great stay.!! I called ahead to see if we could get the same room or same area that we were in last year, and had no problem. The staff were friendly and accomadating.

The indoor pool was nice and warm, and still couldn't get to use the outdoor one, as it was so cold.

The only change this year, was that they no longer have the free Continental breakfast, as they have a full breakfast resturant in there now. Although the breakfast were made by a award winning cheft, we didn't want to spend a lot of money on breakfast. We found a place just down the street, (Olympia) where the breakfast were 3.99 and 2.99!!!! A great alternative for guest that don't want to spend a lot of money for breakfast.

Found the people that have spent some time at the Clarion return every year. (even before it became the Clarion, )

We had a great time at this hotel. Was such a pleasure to stay there. We'll be back in two more weeks!!

Well worth it if you're thinking about staying there. You won't be disappointed.
