“Great surprise!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

This was a last minute stop for us and turned out to be one of our favorite stops of the trip. Do the audio tour, it gives so much insight to the detail of his work. Our children (9 and 13) really enjoyed the museum too!

“Not to be missed!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

A true slice of Americana. Guides were wonderful. All of the artist's best work is exhibited. Also, his studio is open to the public. Grounds are beautiful and include a small cafe. Allow 3-4 hours.

“Worth It”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Well worth the expensive admission. It's a small museum but we still managed to spend almost 3 hours gazing at the prints and paintings while on the audio tour. (As long as you're paying $17.50 for admission, you might as well spring $5 more for some info... especially in the Saturday Evening Post cover room.) I do wish there were more examples of his drafts and sketches and photographs of his life and process etc., since most of the displays were of his finished works, but still SO worth it!!!
