We saw "Extremities" at the Unicorn Theatre, which is one of a number of theaters belonging to Berkshire Theatre Group. The Unicorn is a rather small theatre. We saw "Extremities." The acting was quite good. We sat in the center, so we could see everything. However, this probably was not true for some theatre goers sitting on one side of the stage, where a large chair must have blocked some views. One of the main characters was confined for most of the time to the fire place in the back of the stage. Many of his lines could not be understood, and these lines were of importance for understanding of the play. Nevertheless, the play was riveting.
