Description: The Lion's Den pub, located downstairs at The Red Lion Inn, offers entertainment seven nights a week, and never a cover charge. There's different entertainment each night, with regular appearances by local performers including David Grover, the Sun Mountain Fiddler, and the Housatonic Philharmonic, offering everything from acoustic folk to R&B, and reggae to the blues. Some nationally recognized performers have been known to grace our humble pub stage from time to time - James Taylor, Lauren Ambrose and Roger Salloom among them.On chilly nights ask for a table by the fireplace and enjoy a genuine pint of ale or stout, a glass of your favorite wine, or a mug of hot mulled cider - all accompanied by our classic pub fare. The Lion's Den is open (until 1 a.m. on weekends), with entertainment from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and entertainment from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. House guests can access the Lion's Den through the Tavern, or by entering beneath the red awning on Main Street.

We arrived fairly late in the evening and were hungry. They were friendly and accomodating. There was a good band. It was a nice evening.

My family stopped here with three little boys for lunch. It was one of the best meals we have had. High quality good. RestaurAnt was not busy. Good service. It is dark, but not offensive. The food.....so good. The chicken pot pie was worth the drive!! Don’t hesitate. Try this place!

Thank A D

A historic live music spot in a very historic hotel. Gives you that feel that so many famous people have shared the same experience as you, and so intimate with the performers. If you like that old feel and you like music you will love this place!! Good drink selection.
