My wife and I spent three nights at the Inn at Stockbridge. The staff was welcoming and accomodating, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the main building and common areas were charming and comfortable. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms which while very comfortable and well-appointed, should not be described as luxurious. The bathroom finishes were ordinary (plastic shower enclosure) and in need of some maintenance/updating. Also, the rooms are in need of better sound insulation, as we heard several conversations of guests in adjoining rooms. Overall, it was a great stay, but I believe the rooms are overpriced.
