My wife and I wanted to have a "tech-free" weekend with our two daughters and we couldn't have found a better place. It felt like we were hours away from Boston when we were in fact only 45 minutes.
When we arrived, we went straight to the Carriage house where we were going to stay and it had everything we needed. We were so inspired by the amenities that we went to a nearby supermarket to be snack foods and ingredients to make smores with.
My daughters favorite part of the experience was that there were animals everywhere! There were 3 horses, ducks, chickens a dog and a cat on the farm and most were free-roaming (except for the horses) and nice. We loved just being able to walk around the farm and interact with all of the animals.
Breakfast was really good and the hosts were so nice to us. They let us hang around them as they tended to the horses and even let us feed some of the horses which my daughter loved.
Although the house was a little old, it was comfortable for me, my wife, my 3 year old and 6-month old. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to all of our friends looking for a weekend away.More
