“Truly "Over the Top" - decadent!!!”

We've stayed three separate times in the off-season. Each time the Inn seems cozier and more 'well-appointed' than the last time. You can tell the owners truly love their historic inn which is on the National Registry of Historic Sites. The sheets are crisp and cottony, the hot tub and cocktails are relaxing, and the setting is the Cape at it's best. We'll return, to be sure. Freddy is a real character, go see for yourself!!!

What a truly wonderful welcome! Freddy greeted us so warmly we felt instantly "at home" in his beautiful , clean and very comfortable home on The Cape. Crackling log fire, complimentary drinks (including gorgeous wine!), savoury snacks, chocolates, hot tea and coffee, DVDs, CDs, an excellent collection of books... Freddy ensured we had the perfect stay. His four course breakfasts are fabulous and he is a mine of information - we took him up on all his suggestions - and we were glad we did... he helped make our visit to The Cape so very memorable. We stayed in the Wisteria room - so spacious; a really comfortable bed; flat screen TV (with DVD player); great bathroom - and it was immaculate!

Keep up the good work Freddy - you are, in our opinion, the perfect host and innkeeper. Thank you for looking after us so well, we will never forget your incredible hospitality.

We didn't think that Freddy and Ruth could improve on perfection but they've done it! We've stayed at Honeysuckle Hill a number of times and each time we find that something new and delightful has been added -- like the hot tub in the garden, the gazebo surrounded by woodlands and new additions to the spectacular breakfasts.

In August we travelled through New England and the adjoining area of Canada. Everywhere we stayed was first-class but the Honeysuckle Hill was the best of the lot.

We were made to feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything one could need was available right there, from complimentary drinks, snacks and sweets to beach towels and chairs.

The surroundings are well-kept and very attractive.

We stayed in the Morning Glory room. The aircon was a little noisy, but apart from that it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all you could need once again provided.

I'd recommend the hot tub too.

We heard about the breakfasts from reviews here and weren't disappointed - in fact, notwithstanding the fact that I'm no lover of eggs, they were as good as anything we've ever had.

Best of all was Freddy, the owner. Nothing was too much trouble and a more genial proprietor probably van't be found. His local knowledge - and all the information in the little library - helped make our stay in Cape Cod one of the best.

I don't know if we'll ever go to New England again, but if we do, we'll be at the Honeysuckle Hill.

From the time we were greeted by Freddy, our innkeeper, until we were bid farewell, staying at the Honeysuckle Hill Inn was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our every need was attended to from having beach chairs, towels and suntan lotion to wine, cocktails and after dinner drinks. Freddy's 4 course breakfasts are gourmet delights and a great way to start your day on the Cape. The guests at the inn during our stay ranged from Germany to California to Ohio- all making for wonderful conversation whether at the breakfast table or in the evening in the parlor. Freddy was always available to make suggestions for dinner or for daily activities. We have definitely found a new "vacation home" on the Cape for a reasonable price.

We highly recommend this inn for its' location, breakfasts and welcoming atmosphere.

From the moment you arrive Freddy makes you feel welcome as if you were an old friend. Having never stayed in a bed and breakfast before we didn't know what to expect, and as a young couple in our early 20's we weren't sure how we would fit in. But it turned out to be a great experience, the other guests were very polite and good natured-- the atmosphere at the honeysuckle hill inn was light and easy going which made it easy to strike up conversation. What was also nice was how beautiful and private the room was, it made it easy to relax in a space that didn't make you feel like you were living out of a suitcase like a hotel room does. This place makes vacationing fun and easy! I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone! Thanks Freddy.

Oh my gosh, what a glorious find. My husband and I and infant son have just returned from a week at the Cape where the first three nights we died and went to heaven. What a perfect experience if your are looking for tranquility, generous hospitality, warm and fuzzy comfort food, and delightful witty humor. Freddie, the innkeeper, is doing a terrific job and no detail has been left behind. He warmly welcomed us upon our arrival. As we entered his charmng abode one was made to feel right at home. It was amazing to feel that we had been there many times before. Lovely goodies to snack on throughout the living room and a well stocked array of refreshments was very much appreciated. One of the days we lazily stayed on the property in the lovely backyard and my son and husband had a blast in the new hottub (See photo) The inn is immaculate, the 4 course breakfast is out of this world, and the entire experience will be hard to match. BRAVO Freddie, Ruth and Roberta - you have found your calling!!
