Wonderful stay our first time. Older hotel, typical for Cape Cod, but clean & comfortable. Great location. LOVED the private beach area by the bay, separate pool area, and the fire pit at night was so fun & relaxing. Breakfast was good & staff friendly. Our room was on the back of the hotel, second floor, with windows facing bay. Very relaxing & great stay.
HOWEVER, returned for a couple of nights a few months later & experience was entirely different. Had room on first floor, down the hall from indoor pool and the noise never stopped with kids running, yelling, doors slamming. Later in night, had loud voices, banging on doors, and constant traffic maybe from bar??
Would stay again but having no kids with us, would definitely request second floor room.

Room Tip: If traveling with kids, any room would prob work. Without children, definitely would request second...

Literally - the backyard of the hotel has a beachy area with adirondack chairs overlooking a grassy, ocean marsh. In October - it is beautiful spot to sit in the warm sun and enjoy a cocktail or read your book. At night, a gas bonfire surrounded by adirondacks is a perfect place for family & friends to enjoy the outdoors and crisp autumn air. The hotel recently replaced all bedspreads with crisp white bedding and flat screen televisions. I stay twice a year here and am never disappointed! In fact, it seems to just keep getting better!

Room Tip: Second floor rooms with queen beds (first floor = double) are a bit larger and quieter without overh...

We went to Bayside Resort as a golf package and had a great time.Andrea helped us design our package suggesting several great courses. We played the Captains Course in Brewster on our first day and really enjoyed the course despite the weather being rainy. On our second day we played Bass River Golf course and also had a great time playing 27 holes... the weather was beautiful ! The accommodations were very nice and we enjoyed the outdoor gas firepit on our first night. The continental breakfast was very well stocked with assorted breakfast items as well as a do-it-yourself waffle maker, please spray the griddle before pouring in the batter! We were amazed by the value of our package price !!

We found this place because we were looking for golf packages...the broker we called was using this place for their offered package. The package price seemed a little high for 3 nights with 3 rounds of golf so I called the Bayside myself as well as the golf courses and ended up saving $210 for the two of us. Turns out the Bayside was a very nice place. If you're a golfer it's location is great...over 10 courses within 20 minutes of there. "Resort" is a stretch --- but it's a nice motel with an indoor and outdoor pool and it's own small pub open evenings. There's a game room for kids and a decent work out room. The view over the bay is beautiful and there's a gas firepit open evenings till 11:00pm....good place to meet other people. We met a fantastic family at the indoor pool...they were there for a family wedding the next day --- we had a good time with them. (Hope their wedding was great!) The staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast is included and it's more than usual...waffles, cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juices, bagels, pastries. There were a bunch of soccer kids spending the weekend there for tournaments ao the noise level was rather high, but they were having fun. We had a room with a king-sized bed that was as comfortable as home with nice linens. You can get other places at the Cape for less money but so many of them are old and tired...we paid about $212 a night on a holiday weekend (taxes included) but we got the third night for a penny on the internet!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 173...it's an end room so it's quiet but the best part is that it's a...

We returned by Bayside again this year for a 50th birthday celebration weekend for Michael. The staff was terrific as in the past! We were welcomed in at the front desk when checking in and they had also put aside information requested regarding the best whale watching and kayaking. The desk clerk was able to recommend the whale watch and it worked out great. We saw several Minke whales and had a beautiful day on the boat and wandering around Ptown. We enjoyed drinks while watching the sun set over the water at hotel...great pictures were taken of that! Dinner at the Yarmouth House restaurant a few doors down was terrific! Having rolled that into our package was a nice touch. The best surprise for Michael was the birthday note and bottle of champagne that greeted us in our room! Just one more surprise to add to the celebration. We were able to lock up our bicycles at the hotel until our ride a couple of days later. We rode the Cape Cod Rail Trail for ~25 miles then came back to enjoy a well earned jacuzzi session. No sore muscles the next day! The breakfast spread is always welcome and there are plenty of healthy options that we enjoy. Thank you Bayside for a wonderful trip again and continue to tell our friends about your hotel.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Best location and close to Plymouth Rock and in the other direction to Providence. Courteous staff recommended great restaurants. Out back by the outdoor pool was a fire pit where people gathered. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Nice to have a bar at the hotel also. Pleasant stay for 3 days. Enjoyed it!

Room Tip: Rooms towards the front of the hotel are quieter.
