“A very pleasant Resort”

The rooms are a little dated but very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants even walking distance. Many options for family and couples activities. Many beaches to choose from. Would definitely return in the future.

Room Tip: Only one section has balcony access on the second floor. The first floor closest to the indoor pool...

My family spent 3 nights at this terrific resort! We had a great time. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness. Everything was spotless - and we often saw hotel employees cleaning and vacuuming. The grounds are very well maintained. Although we did not get the chance to use the outdoor pool or sit around the bonfire, both looked very inviting! We did enjoy the indoor pool. Beckey at the front desk was so helpful in planning our stay, with suggestions for things to do with our teenagers. We spent 2 days at Craigsville Beach and had a great time. There is so much to do within a short drive and many great places to eat. We can't wait to go back!

Bayside Resort is a clean family friendly hotel with inside and outside pools, not to mention the heated Jacuzzi, We had a large room with two queen beds , a refrigerator, coffee pot, flat screen satellite tv and full WiFi access. It is located very close to some beaches (we like seagull beach), restaurants and Hyannis. Thank goodness because the traffic is terrible, but that is normal anywhere on the cape in August. The breakfast facility provides, plenty of variety from a make your own waffle bar to fruits, bagels, cereals etc.. It was great to have the inside pool during some serious rain storms. It is an ageing facility that is well kept. Lots of kids allow for good interaction with our grandson. People come from all over to this hotel, including Europe and Canada. We booked in advance through Expedia and saved some money, by paying in advance we also saved time at checking in and out. The staff was very friendly and assisted in holding the door for me on a number of occasions when I was unloading and loading my car.

Room Tip: I like the large corner suite on the second floor best.

Rooms were clean, with mini refrig. grounds were well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. close to beaches and island fast ferry's. Continental breakfast was nice, but would have like some hot eggs & bacon

Room Tip: Make sure you verify cancellation policy. There is a 2 night min. stay on weekends in the summer.

We just returned from a long weekend at Bayside Resort Hotel. As this was our first visit, we were not sure of what to expect, but after reading other vacationers reviews, we decided to take a chance and try Bayside. We had a great time! Bayside's staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, due to the weather not cooperating, we did not get a chance to use the fire pit outback, or the outside pool, but both looked amazing! The continental breakfast was the perfect start to a day of sightseeing and offerred a great selection--from make-your-own waffles, to bagels, english muffins, muffins, donuts, cereal, fruit, and danish-and all were kept well stocked, with staff keeping everything clean. The location was perfect for what we wanted--whale watching & shopping in Hyannis and the Cape Cod National Seashore Beaches, all located within a short drive. We were very satisfied and will use this hotel again next time we head to the Cape.

Room Tip: For our next visit we will request 2nd floor with balcony.

We recently stayed at the Bayside on a trip to Cape Cod.
The pros:
- The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped with a last minute booking and were accommodating for some unexpected changes
- Great activities for the kids - indoor & outdoor pool, arcade, sand volleyball
- Firepit and chairs facing the salt marsh make you forget that the front of the hotel is a busy road
- Clean rooms
- Short driving distance to Trader Joe's, Starbucks and local restaurants
- Short driving distance to other Cape Cod towns
- Good place for families and groups - if you are a loud family or group, you will be in good company! We were a big, loud group so noise is not an issue for us!

The cons:
- For the price, the rooms are VERY average. The carpet definitely needs an update as it shows stains. Other than the carpet, the rooms were in good shape.
- The largest con is the location. West Yarmouth has a long road which has a series of hotels and motels. It doesn't feel like a vacation area/resort at all. I suggest Chatham or Hyanis instead.
- There is no closet door - there is a small rack which serves as a closet without a door. Just adds to the average or motel feel of the room
- The breakfast is ok, but the same every day and not very filling. They offer waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, pastries, toast, bagels, fruit and yogurt. Good options, but a little change up day to day would be nice.

Room Tip: Extra cost of a Bay View room is not worth it. Just take a standard room, save money and spend your...
