“Time-share resort”

A very nice resort on the Cape with close proximity to Hyannis--a fun town to walk. The resort didn't look that special on the outside--more like a hotel--but the rooms were exceptionally nice--a townhouse type accommodation--with an upstairs bedroom, bath, & very large walk-in closet. It also had a skylight, which was so nice to brighten the room in the day since there were no windows. The downstairs was ample with a kitchenette. There is a restaurant onsite that had good food.

Provincetown is an easy drive (don't miss that gem of a place!) and, in near by Hyannis, you can catch ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. All in all, not much to see in Yarmouth itself but you can get to so many places easily. Our unit was a 2-floor unit and the updated decor was very well done. We got this through RCI as a timeshare exchange for a week. There is no mid-week tidy service (i.e. bring fresh towwels, sanitize toilets, bring fresh dish towels) and there is a charge for internet ($19.95 week) as well as the laundry machines. With as much as timeshare owners pay for their maintenance fees, you would think the laundry would be free (as it is in both of our other home resorts). The bbq's border on being unsafe; they are very old, have their auto ignition buttons removed, and you have to get a bic fireplace butane from the front desk. The man I saw trying to light one looked like an accident in the making. I mentioned he could remove the grill top and move the gas grate covering material over a little to get more direct contact with the gas jets.

When walking around the facility, we saw people waiting in line with arm loads of towels so they could exchange them for clean ones. By the way, no one at the desk will tell you about the bbq or the towel exchange and there is no info in the room letting you know these things. The front desk people are courteous but not that helpful; they only give you info if you ask a specific question.

Use this property as a great launching point to explore the many things to see and do on the Cape! You won't be dissapointed.

Room Tip: Don't epect an elevator, there is none. If you aren't on the ground floor, be prepared to p...

We stayed here the last week of may for our Cape Cod vacation and it was great. The room was spotless and very nice. Loved having the two separate bathrooms, that was very convenient . A great place to take the family since they have so many activities right there. Will definitely stay here again if decide to go to cape cod again.

Clean enough and comfortable, conveniently located. If you have a second floor unit be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs and walk your butt off, as entry most likely will not be near your room. No offer of help with luggage from the staff, standing around yacking with each other. Then when in your room drag your bag up another steep staircase to the upstairs bedroom. This place is comparable with other nearby choices. Didnt appreciate being nickeled and dimed by having to pay for wifi and beach parking pass.

Our family recently returned from our stay at The Cove. We stayed in a two level one-bedroom condo. We were happy to see the updated amenities including a microwave and refrigerator in the kitchen area. Four people stayed in this unit and we were very comfortable with the size of the unit.

It rained our entire trip so we did take advantage of the great indoor amenities and still had a fun trip! If you visit the Cape it is important to stay at resort with indoor amenities just in case it rains. The Cove kept us very entertained. The pool was very clean and the restaurant had nightly entertainment. The location is close to many attractions, beaches, restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend The Cove.

I reserved this units as it was the closest to Boston as I could find at the time. We hoped the weather would be nicer to enjoy cape cop outdoors, but still too cold for us. That said we had always planned to travel to Boston most of the time anyway. It was a 1 hour commute to city limits, and less than 20 minutes to downtown from there. We stayed May 1-4.

In the area with did get a ferry to martha's vineyard. Howevery, even though it was close on paper, it took 50 minutes through a congested highway with street lights to get there. There is a lot closer ferry to the resort, but this mainly serves Nantucket.

The resort itself seem very nice. We had a one bedroom unit on the first floor. The decor seemed somewhat upscale(but not luxury) and new. Everything from the exterior to the interior seemed to be maintaned very well. We were a family of four staying. Two adults, one senior, and one 2 yr old. The adults slepted in the bedroom (queen size bed) with the toddler. We had no problems. Two nice flat screen tvs were provided along with two full baths ( one shower with double direction shower heads, and one with a tub). Small galley kitchenette, had everything we needed. We did not use any of the amenities at the resort. Resort restuarant was closed most of the time we were there. Good breakfast place across the street.

Service was excellent. Check-in was a breeze. We had a problem with our cable TV, resort fixed withing minutes of calling at 8:30PM.

Only problems was a fridge that didn't seem cool enough for me, and my wife didn't like the mattress.

Would stay here again, during summer.

Room Tip: We had a corner one bedroom unit on the first floor unit 319. We prefer no steps, so this was perfec...

Recently, two friends and I stayed at The Cove. Check in was very quick and the woman who checked us in was very nice. We were using a groupon (which was a great deal). We were given a townhouse to stay in. It was very clean and comfortable. It also had a nice little kitchen, which cut down on the cost of eating out. We had an inlet view. The only negative was that there were kids in the pool and the hot tub all the time. Also, the lounge/bar had children there too. That should be one place for adults only. All in all it was a nice time; close to everything; and the staff was great! If you are traveling with children, this is the place for you!
