Once again we stayed at The Cove. It was pleasant and as always busy. We enjoyed both pools, and had dinner at 4 Bros Bistro once. The hotel is starting to show a little wear, and the bathrooms aren't as clean as they once were. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. Our needs for fulfilled and our expectations exceeded, we will once again return next year.

Room Tip: Depending on the time of year really depends on the room quality. Anything away from the pool is qu...

We've gone to the Cove for April break for a few years now. The townhouse has a bedroom and bath upstairs, so either the parents can be up there or the kids. There is only 1 bedroom and the others sleep on a pull out sofa. The Cove has been remodeled recently and the rooms are nicer. It is not upscale, but serviceable. There is a microwave in each room, as well as small refrigerator and cooking utensils and whirlpool tub in the downstairs bath. Don't expect great views from the rooms, most face inward, toward to pool area. The pool is large and there is also a kiddy pool. Plenty of space to swim for both kids and adults. There is a restaurant on premises, as well as one right next door. It is also convenient to shopping and Hyannis Center, as well as Cape Cod Mall. Located right on Route 28, the south side main thoroughfare of the Cape, it is easy to get to just about anywhere you want to go. One thing, It can be a bit noisey if you open the window to the pool area. So, I kept it closed and used the air conditioner. I would say anyone looking for a reasonable price and an above average room, this would be a good choice. It is also a time share, so it is maintained very well.

Room Tip: Some of the townhouses have an empty space upstairs, perfect place to store luggage or have the kids...

I'd actually give the resort a 3.5 but since that's not an option, I decided to round it up to 4. Benefit of the doubt here, people! This was our third stay at The Cove and it is consistently good. Not excellent or even great, but pretty good.

We stayed in a townhouse again and found it to be the same as it ever was. A little more wear and tear on the room (especially on the couch), but nothing that was offensive. The best part about it is how clean the units are kept. The bathrooms are immaculate. We had some difficulty with the remote control/cable system, so I'd recommend they add some instructions in case you face sync issues between the power and cable box. The DVD player wasn't functional either, but perhaps we were doing something wrong? Thing is, we're fairly tech savvy so those instructions would have come in handy. Free wi-fi is fantastic (although the signal can be weak at times). I'd recommend a selection of pillows for the bed--our only option was spongy firm pillows which were quite uncomfortable for someone with neck and shoulder issues. One other thing we noticed was small carpet nails poking out around the kitchen area. Thankfully we didn't hurt our feet, but if they're not attended to soon there could be an accident. We used the gym a few times and although it had everything you would want (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, weights and weight machines), several machines should be upgraded within the next couple of years. The carpet is also on the older side and I saw they were attempting to dry a big wet spot with a fan. Not sure if that's good for ventilation, but I digress. The TVs in the gym are a bit small and the volume didn't go high enough when there were folks on the treadmills, but this is a very minor complaint in the grand scheme of things.

Two bathrooms in the townhouses is FANTASTIC, but be aware that the upstairs bathroom only has a shower, and a small one at that. Lastly, as far as the unit is concerned, if you're older and have trouble climbing stairs, you should avoid booking the townhouses because not only are they all on the second floor, you also have to climb about 16 steps to to get to the bedroom. We were given a room at the very end of the property (building G or H, I believe) so there was a lot of walking involved. Keep in mind it's a large resort so be prepared to walk a little if you're not in the buildings closest to the lobby.

The front desk person on duty checked us in fairly quickly, but I could tell she was slightly annoyed when I asked if we could get another room because we didn't want to be on the perimeter of the indoor pool (seemed like it would be very noisy). She wasn't rude or anything, but I just got the feeling she'd rather be done with us as soon as possible. Granted we did arrive on the later side, but still...Other than that, we really didn't interact with other staff members other than the waitress who was quite friendly. Speaking of, the restaurant is just okay. It has the basics if you want a fast bite, but it's certainly not anything to write home about. There are so many great restaurants in Cape Cod I'd recommend saving your money for somewhere else.

Again, a reliable place that has been maintained pretty well all things considered. A few minor improvements and it'll be a great place to stay in the Cape. We look forward to visiting it again in a couple of years and who knows? Maybe some of our suggestions will have been addressed!

I have been staying here for (yikes!) 25 years. Location is fantastic, near fun dining and shops but Chatham & other island areas are not too far.

I have always stayed here in winter or April and decided to book 5 days in August. Our room was the worst view wise we have stayed in at the Cove, but at 100% capacity, it wasn't a big deal. There was still plenty of parking, too.

Cheers: room is spacious and allows for some light meals in the room. Resort is clean and updated, though last update is showing light wear. Location is 1.1 miles from a beach off Standish, and 1.6 from Hyannis. Since traffic is heavy in the summer, we brought bikes and it was perfect!! What I love most about this resort is that on bummer rainy days at the beach, you have a great gym, racket club, kids activities, in-room DVD player, and 3 pizzerias practically on site. You could stay here 2 weeks and never be bored!!!

Jeers: when I was 7 I loved the upstairs bedroom. Now a full bed doesn't cut it for my husband & me! I wondered if the suites had larger beds.
Also- BRING COFFEE. There is none In The room, and a busy Kuerig in reception ($1.00/cup).

As a side note, I did not bring water shoes. If you plan on hitting the water, remember to pack them.

Unless you must be on the water, this is a fantastic family choice, & the prices are great. I just can't imagine staying anywhere else. Happy travels!

I have just got home from my vacation and needed to write a review for this hotel it was amazing I stayed for 5 nights in a town home ! the check in was extremely fast the only think that took a little bit was them trying to tell us where and how to get to our room they had a map ! The one thing that I did not
Like is they only give you 2 room keys ! So once we were on to our rooms it took us about 10 mins to find our town home ! They do not have any elevators And all the town houses are on the second floor ...thank god I decided to take the biggest extra large suitcase ! When we got to our room it was beautiful we had a water view that looked over the water and also a cute fire pit with several Adirondack chairs ! The town home was extreamly nice and had everything you need the sound does rise so if your kids like to sleep don't put them in the loft they will hear your every word ! The pools had a lot of activities for the kids and your child will meet a friend almost Immediately! My stay was great and it is so close to the beach ! Make sure to try the Italian restaurant right next store ! It was amazing and not expensive at all they feed you a lot also !

This hotel is only 4 stars but for the perfect time I had at this amazing hotel, I would rate it as 5 stars. The rooms are perfect. They are very spacious and has a lot of charm. The kitchenette is really nice and if you ever need ice ther are ice machines located near every room. The service is excellent. If you have any request they will grant it to you before you know it. The location is on a main street but in your rooms can't even hear cars go by. The indoor pool is fabulous. It has a huge heated pool with a jacuzzi next to it. For the children under three, they have a pool just for them. There is always a lifegaurd on duty to watch what is going on. The outdoor pool is also nice with an average size pool and a bar. Located right next to that is the outdoor tennis courts(2). In the recreation center, it offers indoor tenis courts(4). It also offers an indoor basketball court, indoor racquetball, ping pong, pool, a game room, and a small souveneir shop. The restaraunt is okay. The service can be a little better but the food is still delicious. There are a lot of other hotels around this one and this one is by far the best.

Room Tip: Stay away from the townhouses because they offer very little privacy.

I stayed for a full week, and the hotel is great, the rooms are very large and never had any problems. The indoor pool was great and very clean. They pretty have every type from large suites and even bigger townhouses. The outdoor pool is very nice and clean. All round a very good place to say, also Joan who works there is one of the best representitives of customer service I have ever seen, we had an issue last year and she did absolutely everything she could for us. She went above and beyond. All around an Awsome place to visit with a great location and very friendly staff
