“Nice folks, Great food!”
Reviewed 19 June 2013

Slow roasted roast beef onsite, need I say more? Even Chef Ramsey would give this place 5 stars! And the pricing will make you smile too. I had the french dip and a cold beer for under $15.

“Family friendly atmosphere and menu”
Reviewed 29 May 2013

You don't have to be a time share owner to enjoy this restaurant located at The Cove in Yarmouth. Always a great meal. Wait staff is hard working but they are understaffed for big parties.

“Meatloaf”
Reviewed 17 May 2013

Try the Throwdown meatloaf. It is worth it. When we visited it was only open Thur-Sun, but we made sure we went.

“Adequate”
Reviewed 11 May 2013

We were staying at The Cove in Yarmouth on Route 28. The restaurant is located upstairs in the registration building located on the left as you enter the resort grounds. After a long day, it was easiest to eat "on site." There is a bar area, but also a few roomy sections with lots of tables for those wishing to eat. Being touted as selected by The Phantom Gourmet, we were expecting the best. We began with clam chowder - not very hot, not very thick, nothing special. We've had much better at several other places on the Cape. The fish and chips were good - several large pieces of haddock. I ordered baked haddock with steamed broccoli which was especially delicious. I skipped the starch for double vegetable and they gave me a generous amount. Two people ordered the chicken parm and did not like it. The amount of chicken was reasonable, served on a huge mound of spaghetti, but neither liked the tomato sauce flavor. To me, it tasted homemade with a little too much of some spice - maybe a little more zip than some are used to. One ordered steak tips which were good. The kids' menu had enough selections to keep the grandkids happy. There were free refills on sodas and iced tea. It was the 5 year old's birthday but they had nothing in the line of a cupcake with a candle. Mom settled for a slice of cheesecake, we sang "Happy Birthday" and were surprised to see the $6 charge for the slice. (Most places are happy to provide a little treat to a birthday child, especially when you are already going to be paying a very large bill.) They have a varied menu that includes soups and salads ($3-8), many appetizers ($5-11), eight kinds of burgers w/side ($8-11), 21 sandwiches w/side ($5-10), 12 entrees ($10-16), daily dinner specials and pizza specials. The food was good but nothing special. Waitress was nice. If I was tired and wanted the convenience I'd eat here again. If I wanted better food I'd go elsewhere.

“Expected more”
Reviewed 9 April 2013

Recently stayed at the Cove and loved everything about our stay except we were disappointed by this restaurant . Really expected a restaurant in such a beautiful resort to be top notch .
Food was average and cleanliness left a lot to be desired .
We ended up next door at DiParma for two of our lunches and one dinner during our stay , a short walk over and it is wonderful.
