“Great sea food”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Great place to eat sea food in the area. Good prices and nice people. A bit crowded sometimes so better for families or woth friends rather than for a honey moon.

“Priced right!”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Like an old friend. This place has been here for as long as I have been coming to the Cape. For me at least 30 some years.
Prices are not high & have smaller portions but the food is good.

“Don't get trapped”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Yes, we were tourists, and yes this place is made from a boat, and yes we like lobster, so it seemed like a good bet. Wrong. The atmosphere sucks tourists in like sirens. It's right on the river and nautical. I will say the lobster bisque was some of the best we've had. Buttery and full of lobster. Then the dinner sunk. I ordered a steamed lobster. When I cracked it open, water poured out of it. It was mushy and tasteless. My husband's lobster mac and cheese had little lobster in. It also took a long time to get served; we actually though the waitress left for the night. Plus, oddly, one of the other servers came over and told my husband that he and the other "guys" had an inside joke about elephants. My husband was wearing a t-shirt with an image of an elephant on it and the server wanted to take a photo of my husband's shirt. He wouldn't tell us what the joke was and my husband was gracious and obliged but it was hard to not feel like we were being made fools of. It was very strange all around. There are many, many lobster restaurants all around the Cape; if you're looking for a great experience, I would find one other than the Lobster Boat.
