This is classic New England food. The decor is a bit dated but that may be part of the charm. Menu includes things like cod cakes, shepards pie, meatloaf, lobster, fish and chips but also pub food like nachos and wings. The clam chowder was some of the best I ever had. Burger huge, cooked to order. Fish and chips excellent: cod, battered-fresh flaky and tasty. Fries r clearly
Frozen. Tried their cod rueben which is a fried cod sandwich with tartar sauce, coleslaw and swiss on rye and it was very god. This is not haute cuisine its down home family fare. For folks with kids u have to walk through and wait in the bar. Not my favorite place to stand with an 8 yr old but its an older crowd, not rowdy by any means. We came for the chowder and the biggest mistake we made was getting a cup not a bowl because it was the highlight of the trip, without it the rest was good enough.

Loved the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We had to wait a long time to be seated though, which is hard when traveling with kids or older adults.

Love this place. Feels like a classic old restaurant with a great new outdoor patio and fireplace with a surprising bar out back , shhhh this is our secret spot for drinks!! Gets packed for sure, expect to wait to be sat for dinner or to get a spot at either bar , in or outside. Food is good.. service was average! We really like this spot and great location for us, near most of the hotels. Also, we like the fact it has our Sons name! :D

Our family of 6 wanted to finish our last night in Boston with an excellent dinner. We were recommended to captain Parker's. We waited over an hour thinking it would be worth the wait. We were wrong! We were very disappointed! Do not order Lobster, wrapped scallops they just not meet the standards of the Cape! They were not fresh! The Clam Chowder was good. We ate at other restaurants on the Cape that were much, much better! Very disappointed on our last meal.
