“Best Mexican food in Cape Cod”
Reviewed 11 July 2008

l live in California and came to visit beatiful Cape Cod and know what real Mexican food is I have been to many Mexican Restaurants in the east coast and have been very disapointed with the food..why? its not really Authentic Mexican food, until I came across Acapulcos in Yarmouth. Acapulcos made me feel like i was back home. The homemade tamales, fajitas, and the perfect margarita made my visit to Cape Cod complete.

Thank sunnylf

“this restaurant needs a Make-Over”
Reviewed 14 December 2007

We were lured in by learning that there are 13 Acapulco restaurants in Massachusetts. Hey, we figured, somebody must be doing something right - but then again what do people in Mass really know about what makes good Mexican food This location seems to be their newest location, and from our experience it's definately the unlucky #13. We arrived early for dinner - about 5 - and upon entering we met by a sour smell from what was probably carpet that hadn't been cleaned in years (it was black! and that wasn't the original color). We were the only patrons, other than 3 ladies sitting at the bar having margaritas. We were led to our table, the waiter threw our menus down and was gone before we even sat down. He took forever to return - took our drink orders - returned with our beers - and when we said we needed just a "minute more" to look at the menu - he disappeared for what seemed 15 minutes. Our meals were horrible. My husband's carne asada was a hard slab of tough meat. We couldn't wait to get out of the place, but our waiter took forever to bring our bill and forever to return with our credit card receipt (we are still the only patrons in the place at this time). Acapulco's needs an Extreme Makeover!
