This week caught lunch with a few other senior type men at Grum's. as was usual the coffee appeared out of nowhere, and the cup never was allowed to empty. Our young and very alert server was super quick in taking our order in a small place that was filled to capacity. Everything is home made, and several specials tempted us. I chose a super Chicken Caesar wrap ane a whole grain wrap. the dressing was aptly applied so as not to leak all over the place, the chicken was tender, and the produce crisp. butternut squash instead of the super French Fries helped to keep the calories . The other men went from burgers to Lobster wraps. o yes, everyone delighted in the homemade grapenut custard covered with real whipped cream not that foam in a can stuff..
When done our server promptly handed the 6 or so men individual slips. Can you believe a lobster lunch for 12.95, less than ten bucks for a super wrap and veggies.
Grum's is a hidden GEM, o yea, and you can catch all the latest town news from all the townies there. A great place to gather.
