Our daughter goes to Williams College and we were looking for place near the campus. The Berkshire Hills Hotel was recommended to us and we have been staying there for two years now. The owners, Mark and Jill, are really nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I really like the continental breakfast where I can sit down and read the paper. We originally stayed at the Williamstown Inn but that was so overpriced and the rooms were nothing to write home about. If you are looking for a good value and a welcoming place, stay at the Berkshire Hills.

We decided to stay here as we were in the area for a car show. The ownwers of the property were very courtieus to us and even allowed us to borrow 2 fire extinguishers as we needed them to enter the show. The accomidations were more than adequate and the continental breakfast was very well prepared and presented. Nicely kept property and would definetly reccomend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

The setting of this motel was pretty, pool was nice, breakfast OK (cereal, coffee, buns).
The room was substandard motel issue. Bathroom tiny and very out of date. Towels (small and thin) wouldn't dry, it was so damp. Ceiling was fake panels coming off in spots. Experience was tolerable only because the other amenities were nice & the people running it were nice, but would not go back.

Expedia's site claimed there were no rooms available at the Berkshire Hills Motel but their prices were good and the reviews very favorable so I decided to take a chance and just call them to inquire for myself...I'm so glad I did! They did have a room available and our stay was perfect. Clean, comfortable rooms and Jill and Mark were very helpful and personable. They both took time to answer our questions and told us some history of the area. Their restaurant recommendations were fantastic! The Adirondack chairs they have set up near the babbling brook that runs behind the hotel was so enticing we bought a bottle of wine so we could enjoy a glass while relaxing there. And the light breakfast on the deck was perfect! It was hard to keep in mind the Berkshire Hills Motel is just that...a motel. It is so quaint and friendly you feel you are staying in a country inn. We will definitely stay there again!

We were looking for someplace to stay near Williams College and this place was perfect. Comfy albeit older style rooms. The bathroom was immaculate and the rooms smelled like eucalyptus. Jill was friendly and helpful. She had fresh picked raspberries to share with us for breakfast and was knowledgeable about the area. We need to be back in the Berkshires again this summer and will stay there. We recommended the motel to other families dropping kids off for the various summer programs at Williams College.

We have been coming to the Berkshire Hills Hotel in the summer for the last several years. It has consistently been a great experience.
The owners, Mark and Jill, are very welcoming and they are attentive to any questions we have about all the events that take place in the area.

Our room is always fresh and clean, with fresh sheets, towels, etc. and stocked with shampoo, lotions, and other goodies. The free breakfast buffet is quite extensive, and allows one to eat at the motel and then be on their way for the day. Very handy for people who want to get a quick start to their day, and not have to go searching for a breakfast restaurant.

It's a great place to relax and enjoy the low-key atmosphere. We enjoy it so much that we come up twice each summer, once in early summer and once in August!

My wife and I stayed here when we went skiing at Jiminy Peak. The Berkshire Hills Motel was perfect for what we were looking for:

-- close to the ski slopes (15 minutes drive)

-- very clean rooms (everything was very clean)

-- reasonable price (their rates are amazing)

Other Points

-- very friendly owners (this is an owner operated place)

-- the breakfast was nice

-- you can get discounted ski lift-ticket passes from them.

The two negatives were that the wireless internet did not work well when we were there and the driveway was *extremely* slippery and should have been salted.
