Williamstown is an odd town. Where most downtowns are on main street. Williamstown's shopping and pub crawling seems to be on a side street. WE found this after a visit to the Clark Museum. Outdoor seating looked nice, but peopl were playing cornhole toss near th table we could have taken. Um... no thanks, we'll eat in.
Nice table looking out at the cobblestone alley and the red brick of the Danforth Building. Waitress was attentive, and had a list of over 20 beers on tap. Baseball games on the screen all the way in back, and people watching out the front. Had a very solid burger & fries and a couple of IPAs. Burgers were $8.99 and were easily the cheapest item. Most were $12.99 including salads. Nothing fancy, but if you can;t make a good burger, what is the rest of the menu going to be like? Better burger than most all of Northampton, in my opinion. Total cost for 2 burgers and 4 beers = $46.00 Not a bank breaker, but good high ceiling atmosphere and open area to have a few cold ones with the rest of the town's daily visitors. I would return on a nice day. Maybe soon.
