“Great place”
Reviewed 30 December 2012

Came in last night for dinner with a friend. It was just us at first. The food came out quick and was pretty good along with the service. The waitress was very very friendly always smiling and happy to help with anything. A family of 4 came in about halfway through our meal and the waitress was just as friendly and hate to say it but the wife was awfully rude. The children were loud and obnoxious with no manners which is one thing but the wife was the same. She was quick to jump to conclusions .The waitress had brought out a tray of food, set it down one table over, and placed 2 of the 4 dishes on their table and the wife snapped right away saying they had more food (which was right on the table next to her) At the end of their to meal, the wife also began to complain to the waitress about the service who acceptingly just apologized for whatever had went wrong but the woman carried on and on with her kids and husband begging her to please stop. She then brought the bill up to the counter and had the girl count it in front of her to show she had paid the exact amount no tip and then said ha! to the girl!and that she was going to right an awful review. Very rude and immature for an adult woman. We could tell her husband was embarassed. The waitress handled it very well and did not say a rude thing back. It was sad to witness something like that , felt it was necessary to post against the rude woman who had just posted quite a few lies below. Taste of food is an opinion but for fact, saigon service is one of the most friendly and quickest in williamstown.

“Terrible”
Reviewed 29 December 2012

Came in tonight on a snowy evening with my family . Food mediocre and the service terrible . The women waitress said she was the daughter of the owner. She was on her phone and had a friend near by waiting for her . She was rude and unattentive and when we complained she said she didn't care and that her family was trying to sell the restaurant . Great news !!! The only good thing about this experience was to teach my young daughters age 8 and 10 not to ever behave like this in life .

“Finally appreciated!”
Reviewed 8 December 2012

When Saigon, first opened in town some fool college critic wrote an unappreciative review which people foolishly trusted. Then the restaurant took some time trying to define its atmosphere. After some rather silly ideas, the place finally has the environment down. It is a fairly cozy and colorful place to indulge in Vietnamese specialties. The wait staff, who are Vietnamese, are all quite friendly and knowledgable. The others are serviceable. The food has happily been scrumptious from the beginning. I heartily recommend the chicken pho ga. The chicken is tender, as are the noodles, and the broth is savory. Perfect on a cold day -- or anytime.

“love love love it!”
Reviewed 7 December 2012

I visit Saigon whenever I get the chance. They have an extensive menu and the servers are well versed in what each dish entails! I love that the prices are reasonable and the food is so flavorful and rich, their portions are extremely generous and it never fails that I enjoy every bite so much that I usually get something additional to take home!

Had a great meal at Saigon. Super fresh, great value and friendly staff. Casual restaurant but really good food - didn't expect such great Vietnamese food in Williamstown! Well worth a visit
