You must visit combination, maple syrup and alpaca farm! The maple syrup, available in three grades, is the best I have had and is priced to compete with inferior store and corporate brands! The alpaca fur products are beautiful and sensual, but the disarming alpacas themselves are almost reason enough to visit.

There is also a wonderful sleigh ride offered on weekends in the winter (and a hayride in the warmer seasons) which is a must! The views of Mt. Greylock and other vistas from points of view, only available to the few lucky enough to live in this area, are worth the modest price. The experience of being pulled in a sleigh, replete with bells, is also a must.

This is a great experience for lovers, families and children. The scent of burning wood when one arrives on a winter day is like comfort food. Walk into the store and that familiar scent is replaced by the processing of the maple syrup, an incredible sensory experience!

Try the syrup samples, buy the size that suits you, pet the alpacas and look forward to sharing this hidden treasure with your friends!

Hint: Take Woodcock Road and bear left to get there -- easier drive.

Today a few of my friends and I had the pleasure of taking a beautiful scenic sleigh ride through the breathtaking views of Williamstown MA. It was the first sleigh ride for everyone involved. You can take a sleigh ride for $14 or have the whole sleigh ride for $125. You can fit 10 adults on the sleigh ride and still be comfy. They provide blankets to warm you up. Both horsed weigh 1600 pounds each and they are such amazing horses. Bear the golden retriever joined us on our sleigh ride. THe man who own the horses was such a lovely man who reminded me of MAtthew in Anne of Green Gables. At one point of the ride the owner let the horses move a bit quicker and it was so much fun. We were brought to a small cozy hut and we were treated to hot chocolate. We were provided time to chat with friends and then we were on our way. At the end of the sleigh ride we visited the small store. THey have alpacas and make beautiful sweaters, mittens, hats and many other articles. THe land is also on a maple syrup farm and they sell amazing syrup for a very good price. Everyone loved the sleigh ride and had an amazing day in Williamstown. The drive up to the farm was spectacular. This is a must if you want something to do that is unique and very special. The people are so down to earth and love what they are doing.

stopped here on a weekend vaca, what a cute farm, Alpaca's and roaming roosters. They make there very own maple syrup there. The man of the farm gave us a tour and a tasting of the syrup. They have over 100 acres and the view is AMAZING!! Cute little place to stop at if your in the area. Nice gift shop.

We took a nice hayride pulled by Bob and Karen, 2 lovely Belgian horses. We took in the foliage and learned about tapping trees for maple syrup.

I went by to see the alpaca and talk with the owners, but no one was there.

It's a lovely property, about 11 alpaca, a store, it seemed they were 'cooking' maple syrup, just that I didn't see a soul. So, I left.
