My wife and I stayed at the Inn for one evening in a room that shared a bathroom with other rooms. Everything was fairly clean and the location was great.

The breakfast was not really anything special nor something that I would want to order again.

Overall, the experience was reasonable, but the atmosphere was that the owner was not enthusiastic about having or taking care of the guests.

August-2012
Timothy was a great host. Our room was cozy and peaceful. A pleasant surprise was the very healthy vegan frittata accompanied by fresh fruit and Cuban beans on 1 day and gluten free almond pancakes accompanied by grits and fresh fruit on our second day. The lavender Avalon products were soothing and a refreshing start for our hectic day. This B & B was close to Williams College. I would recommend this charming, Victorian house to anyone visiting Williamstown.

We stayed 2 nights during our conferences at Williams college. We had a short, pleasant walk to our venue. Our room was very clean, We had a king sized bed and pull out sofa, a/c, tv, and private bath. Overall we found the Inn to be cozy. The host was receptive to my roomates requests, very gracious. The food was fresh and quite good...just what one might expect from a new England B & B.

We arrived to find a very tired sign outside. The 'innkeeper' was not present although a note had been left for us and the door left open. We went into town and innkeeper was still not present on our return although he did come back later in the evening and introduced himself.

Breakfast is at a set time (8.30 am) which was OK for us but may not suit all and as previously stated by other reviewers you sit at a communal table . No choice other than Canteloupe melon and pancakes, which we had to wait a considerable time for.

No TV in room or coffee making facilities.

Overall we felt somewhat underwhelmed by this place and it simply wasn't very welcoming

A really sweet and cosy B&B 10 mins walk away from the centre of town. Clean, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Mauve room which has a shared bathroom but which never seemed inconvenient. Breakfast was fantastic and all vegan and gluten free though you would never know it. overall a we were very impressed and would definitely return.
