“Parking is NOT by the ferry!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

I had downloaded the ferry schedule from the website and proceeded to the only address listed on the schedule. Because of INSANE traffic on a Monday morning coming from the Brewster area (1 hour trip took 1hr 40 minutes) we were worried we would miss our desired departure. We arrived at the ferry port itself with only 10 minutes to spare and were then saddened to learn that parking was 4 miles away and you had to take a shuttle bus back! It was very inconvenient and we wish it had been better noted on their publications. We missed our ferry and had to wait an hour for the next one. Almost all of the people on our shuttle bus were in the exact same boat - everyone came for the 930 and missed it because they didn't know about the parking situation. Better information needs to be given for out-of-town visitors! Bad way to start your day.

“smooth and pleasant ride to paradise”

Pleasant, customer oriented. A painless journey. Whatever the hassle in getting to the boat, the journey is made pleasant and although only 45 minutes, it puts you in a very good mood.

“Don't expect service or organisation”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

The online booking system is convoluted and the confirmation email never arrived. Despite ringing and asking for it to be re-sent it never turned up. You're told to be there 45 mins before the ferry arrives although it's not clear why. You just end up sitting in the car. The process for loaning and unloading the cars is random - don't expect to be first on first off. The ferry itself is old and a little run down. All this for what seems an extortionate price for such a short trip.

“Easy travel to MV”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Cheap roundtrip. Still preseason therefore parking and getting to and from the lots was very easy and not crowded. Shuttles ran very frequently and ferry was on time. Plenty of seating inside and out. Restrooms at the terminals and on the ferry could be cleaner but were acceptable.
