“Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2013

We had a awesome stay at Wood's Hole Passage over the Memorial day weekend. Martha and Julie are wonderful hosts and are very welcoming and accomodating. Our room(3 fish) was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. They advertise themselves as kid friendly, and they truly are extremely kid friendly. There are numerous books and puzzles to keep the little ones occupied in the great room. We had our very picky eater 4 year old with us and Martha went above and beyond to make sure that he had a good breakfast every morning. The breakfast every morning for us was a gourmet delight - Martha even shared some of the recipes with me :-).
Both Martha and Julie were very forthcoming with suggestions of things to do around the area and places to eat. We would have never known about the little May Day festival if not for their recommendation.
This was our fifth trip to Cape Cod, so we didn't really want to do any major sight-seeing, and just wanted a relaxing getaway and this trip provided exactly that. We can't wait to back next year. Our son is already looking forward to meeting his new best friends - Julie and Martha's 3 daughters and Elsa.

My wife and I spent a very pleasant weekend at this B&B. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast, served on a porch with a view of the beautiful grounds, was delicious. The best part of the trip for us was when the B & B owners lent us two bikes and we spent the entire day biking along or near the water. We also enjoyed some beautiful gardens that are a short walk from the B&B. The owners were very friendly and did everything to make are stay a wonderful experience. We hope to go back.

We had a totally wonderful stay at Woods Hole Passage for 3 days in May. Excellence in all ways: room, hosts, breakfasts, and location. We ate out on the patio overlooking the beautiful lawn and gardens, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. We're walkers, and the close location to the ocean (out to The Knob) and the Spohr Gardens was perfect. We're so glad we found Martha and Julie!

Room Tip: Further away from the road would be more quiet, though we weren't bothered by light traffic nois...

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay at Woods Hole Passage. Martha and Julie are very welcoming and accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. Our room, called Two Fish, was bright and cheerful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We appreciated all of the efforts the owners have invested in making their Inn "Green".

The daily breakfast was a gourmet delight, different each of the mornings we stayed there. Soft music played in the Great Room during breakfast and we enjoyed a perfect view of the manicured gardens, even though it was raining on a couple of days. Ferry tickets are available onsite which eliminated waiting in long lines at the dock. Restaurant recommendations were perfect, especially dinner at the Glass Onion, a real treat.

This Inn is conveniently located near all the attractions that Cape Cod and the Islands have to offer. We hope to return soon to this lovely Inn, and look forward to seeing all of the colorful and unique birdhouses, made by the local children as a crafts project, prominently displayed atop the fence.

Thank you Julie and Martha for a restful and perfect getaway!

We just got home today from the Woods Hole Passage B&B. Martha and Julie were great hosts, warm, informative and great cooks. They welcomed us right into their home and we felt at ease. The rooms were everything you need, clean and relatively modern. Our first room faced the road and we quickly asked if we could be moved to a quieter room and they made it happen immediately - no questions asked. They also directed us to the gems of Woods Hole - making me want to go back very soon. Thanks for a great memorable weekend.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face the road - unless you like to hear cars whizzing by at night

Thank you for your review. Your candid feedback helps us fine tune our B&B operations so that we can continue to meet and exceed our guests' needs and expectations. We're on the same page with the midday and early evening traffic sounds you mention. You'll be pleased to know that on your departure day we signed a landscaping contract to create a natural sound barrier between our home and the tree-lined road that ushers guests to our door. A coincidence? Not really. We've been brainstorming with our artistic garden designer friend on how to create an atmosphere at the entrance of the property that matches the quiet beauty of the acreage that lies beyond. Within a week, and in keeping with our sustainable practices, she and her team placed a dazzling array of native trees, shrubs, and smaller plants into soft mounds of earth that will soak up the modern sounds of daily living on the Cape so our guests can enjoy the more welcoming sounds of our resident owl, osprey, and a host of migratory birds. At our B&B, living "green" means better living.

You won't find better hosts than Martha and Julie, the proprietors of the Woods Hole Passage B&B. They were so warm, friendly, hospitable and helpful. We were greeted with a brief orientation, and an invitation to return to the Great Room for cookies and tea (or even beer, if preferred!). We were encouraged to help ourselves to a plentiful selection of books and games. The room (Three Fish!) was cozy and inviting, offering simple amenities that we loved, such as the toothbrush kit and robes! The shower was equipped with both shampoo and conditioner, which added an appreciated convenience. The comforting decor, vaulted ceiling and natural light coming through the windows allowed us to relax fully and savor the beauty of the Cape's off-season. The breakfast the next morning was so gorgeous I had to go get my camera to capture it! The "Egg Blossom" was uniquely beautiful and delectable, preceded by two other courses including heavenly blueberry buckles & Martha's signature doughnut muffins, as well as a substantial parfait of fruit & Greek yogurt. Complementing the incredible food and accommodations was Martha and Julie's hospitality and enjoyable company! We felt like we had made two new friends, whom we look forward to seeing again. They definitely go above and beyond to make their guests feel supremely comfortable and worry-free!
