“Charming and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2013

The multi-course breakfasts were delicious and true works of art. The rooms were charming and comfortable. The garden is quite nice. The location is great - close enough to downtown Falmouth and Woods Hole but quiet. But the best thing about this place is the people. Martha and Julie are fantastic hosts, and by the end of our short weekend stay, they felt like old friends. We would definitely stay here again.

Very hospitable owners, great accommodations, wonderful breakfast & fabulous grounds. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast overlooking the grounds was wonderful all three days. Different things every morning featuring local produce. Fresh fruits and cheeses were outstanding.

We couldn't have asked for more - what wonderful hospitality, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left!!!

I was not feeling too well the first day and Julie and Martha's kindness and helpfulness was amazing - we felt as if we were visiting a friend's home. When people ask our little son what the best part of his 10 day U.S. trip was, he answers "finding a snail in the garden with Julie" (she gave him a fun botanical tour of the B&B's beautiful gardens.)

The breakfasts were sophisticated and very delicious, our room was very comfortable with charm and feng shui. Woods Hole has a laid back charm, with really nice beaches nearby. I could go on and on about all the thoughtful touches that made our stay SO GREAT (free beach parking pass, beach towels and toys etc.) We hope to return next year and thanks for everything!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woods Hole Passage. I'd say it was as comfortable as being at home, but it was better! Delicious breakfast served in a lovely dining/living area or out on the stone patio overlooking the verdant lawn, tea and homemade cookies every afternoon, plus a cool, comfortable room and bath - wonderful! Martha and Julie are hosts par excellence. Our daughter was made to feel one of the family there, too!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this BnB, the food was amazingly well thought-out and delicious, the grounds were beautiful and so peaceful to gaze out at while having breakfast on the patio. Martha and Julie were so accommodating in allowing us to change our reservation to add a friend to the room and the location was perfect.

My wife and I were greeted as warmly by Julie as if we had been old friends, and Elsa (the great, shaggy blond dog of the house) joined in with a busily wagging tail and a nuzzle for each of us. We were shown about the place, its readily available and beautifully kept garden (in whose hammock I relaxed for a while, napping after the long drive up from Manhattan) and the location of our most clean and comfortable room. The location was sufficiently central so that we could easily get to the venues of each of our scheduled celebratory banquets with locally resident old friends now living near the center of the village, and their choices of those venues, new to us, were enthusiastically seconded by Julie and later by Martha as well. Breakfasts were luxuriantly good and inventive, to the eye as well to the stomach, accompanied by excellent coffee. Traffic going by on the road at night troubled my wife, but my poorer hearing missed most of it, and very little of it was of heavy or noisy vehicles as such, only cars for the most part, and far between. The room was quite clean and well appointed, the bed comfortable, and, for our two night visit, had enough furniture and closet space to hold our things after unpacking. If and when we return to this end of the Cape we would surely stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms farther from the entry road are quieter.

Wonderful experience! My family felt very comfortable and by the end of our stay we were leaving friends and not just Inn keepers. We appreciated the use of the Inn's bikes to ride local bike path and the location is very convenient. Breakfasts are incredible, and we look forward to another visit soon.
