We went here with our two granddaughters, aged 1 and 4, plus their cousins, aged 6 months and 2. The two oldest ones loved making big bubbles out front. The three oldest loved climbing and sliding in the preschool playroom. There are also live eagles, owls, foxes, and turtles. Older kids might get bored quickly here, but there is a planetarium show they might enjoy. I wouldn't drive hours to see this place but if you're in the Worcester area it's definitely worth the visit.

This venue is great for toddlers who do not realize that some of the exhibits are closed or uninhabited. Several outdoor exhibits were unoccupied or unkempt. Surely a toddler would not recognize this, but for an adult, or older child paying an admission fee, this is totally unacceptable.Everything in the museum seemed to be geared to the under 4 years of group. I remember going to this museum several years ago and it had exhibits that engaged all age groups. It should be re-named toddler Eco-tarium.

Great place to learn a lot. Of course it is great for the kids. Also things that adults will enjoy. Off the beaten path of downtown Worcester.

EcoTarium was great for the kids got to have a great time with them while they enjoyed the interactive activites. Such as the video about how to young boys used their imagination to learn about outer space and planets in an educational and fun filled way. The train ride was great got to relax while the children saw animals and the great outdoors.

This is the best place to take the kids on a winter weekend day around Worcester area. It is not prefect, but there are lots of areas to explore and a changing exhibition at the bottom floor is nice.
If they added a bit more variety and maintained some of the exhibits a bit better, and had food at the cafe other than the vending machines we would visit more often.
There is a little train and outdoor space to be explored in nice weather, but I think there are better things to do within an hour's drive in the area when the weather is nice… so this is our "bad weather" place to go.
