The inn was wonderful. The service, food, and room was excellent. When I am back in the area to see family, I will stay there again. I recommend this inn to people that love Victorians. The workmanship is superb.

We stayed at the Proctor Inn during Wheaton College's graduation weekend in nearby Norton.
The room was well appointed, with great care given to exhibiting period furniture along with providing modern comforts. The Inn's owners were generous with their time and attention, as was the staff. Lovely breakfast. By far the best part of the experience, for us at least, was learning from Brian about the house's fascinating history and his journey restoring the property. Don't waste your time on sterile chain hotels if you are anywhere in the area. Stay at this magnificent Grand Dame and support the efforts of those who devote their treasure and talents to keeping our history alive. You will be more comfortable, better looked after, and you will be preserving this area's past for future generations. A real find.

Room Tip: Loved the mint room, nice tub. But if desiring a quieter room, ask for one in the back of the house...

We stayed at The Proctor Mansion Inn while on a shopping trip to the outlet in Wrentham. The location of the Inn is excellent, only about a 5 minute drive away from the mall, and the town itself is really pretty with some great restaurants. We stayed in the mint room-the bed was really comfortable and the tub was a great way to relax after the day. The staff at the Inn were excellent, and the breakfast was a delicious way to set us up for our day of shopping. I would highly recommend this excellent b&b.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Proctor Mansion. Simply the most comfortable bed (peach room) we've ever experienced while away from home. The staff helped organize a family gathering and could not have been more accommodating. Will continue to stay there anytime we are in the area.

Room Tip: The rooms are all well apportioned. The mansion is far enough off the main road to make outside noi...

We had a family loss, and our entire family stayed at the inn. Brian was very gracious host, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, as well as comforting. The rooms are cozy and warm, as well as the beds, which are always important to us. I wanted to doze off as soon as I got there.
Close to town, so you do not need a car. Great locale
Highly recommended.

This gorgeous home was once neglected but the owner is painstakingly restoring it to it's original splendor. The moldings in the dining room alone are incredible. I slept in the "blue room" and it was warm and comfortable and clean. Little touches like special teas and the fabulous filtered water throughout the entire house were very nice. My breakfast was great and over abundant. My hostess was a lovely young woman whose name I have forgotten. I regret this, because she was the sweetest thing and I wanted to praise her in this review.
It was a bit pricey for the time of year, I expected lower off-season rates, but that goes with the territory (area).

My husband and I stayed there the night of our wedding with our families. We had booked the entire hotel, so when we arrived after our dinner, we had the entire place to ourselves. And before that, our photographer came and got photos of all of us there. The staff was very sweet and informative about all of the history that goes along with the house, which my mother in law LOVED. The breakfast the next day was delicious too. Thanks to all of the staff there!

Room Tip: We stayed in the pink room which still has a corner that is how it was before all of the renovations...
