“Luxury with a personal touch”
Reviewed 28 June 2009

We started our New England trip with a 4 night stay at the Inn at Cape Cod. The Plantation Suite was exactly as shown on the internet: lovingly decorated, comfortably furnished with everything you need, a super king size bed and spotlessly clean. The suite, although compact, has a cozy seating area around an open fireplace and an outside deck for ones exclusive use. The Plantation suite is at the front of the house overlooking the front garden and the Old Kings' Highway which we found a bit noisy in the mornings.
The Inn has an inviting lounge area, a well equipped "guest pantry" with coffee and tea making facilities as well as the daily choice of mouthwatering homemade cookies and a refrigerator for the guests convenience. The thing that makes the Inn at Cape Cod even more special than the beautiful colonial mansion is, however, undoubtedly Helen and Mike - the Innkeepers. These two warm and charming but always professional hosts create a unique atmosphere of luxury boarding with a very personal touch. Helen pampered us with her daily breakfast creations: always fresh, always different and always beautifully presented. Mike's recommendations for places of interest around Cape Cod and his willingness to arrange and reserve anything we needed was outstanding. The restaurant tips that they provided, especially the one for a special occasion, were spot-on and shows their fundamental knowledge of the area.
Our stay at the Inn was perfect and we could not have started our tour any better.

We stayed at the Inn at Cape Cod for only 4 nights and in many ways, we wished we could have stayed longer. Mike & Helen made us feel really welcome, more like part of their family. They are still in the process of updating the last couple of rooms but that did not spoil our stay in any way as the work was totally segregated. This Inn certainly looked the part of colonnial and traditional and stands out in the area as the place to stay to feel part of the history of the house and the area.
Mike & Helen have a wealth of local knowledge for the short time they've lived there and were more than happy to recommend local restaurants and even make the reservations for us.
If anyone is planning a trip to Cape Cod, we would highly recommend this Inn and we hope to make a return visit in the future.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful weekend getaway at the Inn at Cape Cod. Helen and Mike were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They are warm and friendly and took the time to suggest places for us to visit in the area - nothing was too much trouble. Mike and Helen unexpectedly upgraded us to the Victorian room which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed freshly baked cookies in the evening and a phenomenal 4 course breakfast in the morning - Helen is a great cook. The Inn is in a great location on the Cape, and is the perfect place for a relaxing retreat. We highly recommend the Inn at Cape cod, it is one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in. We are looking forward to our next visit.

For someone who has never traveled alone, and a little fearful, the inn keepers Mike and Helen made me feel very much @ home in their beautiful inn. The room was warm and comfortable, and the 5 course breakfast was just amazing. Whether your into beaches, shopping, biking or nature trails it is all a stone throw away, yet in a quiet peaceful setting. Just a wonderful weekend getaway.

Immaculate, luxury accommodations provided by friendly and warm hosts Mike and Helen! We just returned from our visit to this lovely inn. Having traveled all over the world, found this inn to be rated among some of the best! My husband and I enjoyed the stately and beautiful Plantation suite located on the second floor with a fireplace and large balcony. With a comfortable bed and pillows, it was difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Both proprietors were very helpful in booking reservations and making excellent recommendations on what to see and where to eat. Can't wait to return... Definite destination stop when staying at the Cape!

We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights on our recent holiday in Cape Cod. Outstanding is the only way I can think of describing this lovely B&B.

First impressions are breathtaking as you turn into the driveway and the old colonial building appears in front of you. Our room (Sears Room) was fantastic and continues the good impression. It was spacious and clean and had the best hotel bed I've slept in for a long time. There is a lovely lounge area to sit in, along with tea and coffee making facilities available at all times. Helen, one of the inn keepers, also makes great cookies which are out every afternoon for you to help yourself to.

Breakfast is freshly cooked by Helen and tasted great and sets you up for the day. Breakfast is served by your host Mike, who not only makes you feel welcome but turned out to be a great tour advisor. He let us in on lots of Cape Cod's secret places which we would never have found otherwise. He also helped us with booking trips and also advised us on the best places to eat at - even booking a table for you if asked.

We would happily return for another visit to The Inn at Cape Cod and would recommend it.
