Thank you for your review- its much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you both back soon.
The accommodations were very comfortable with just the right mix of historic charm and modern conveniences. I have not yet been to a B&B that has a TV in the room and I liked that added touch.
The place is very accessible to attractions and restaurants, and I would recommend the breakfast over many - the raspberry parfait was delicous!
The British hosts added additional charm and character to the place....a definite B&B to revisit.
We are happy you enjoyed our Kensington suite- its certainly a very pretty, bright and comfortable room- come back soon- thanks so much for your review.
What a great find!
We recently stayed at The Kings Inne and would highly recommend it as great place to stay while on the Cape. Paul and Carina the innkeepers made us feel very welcome and made our stay really special. This a small, boutique Bed and Breakfast close to everything you need on the Cape, beaches, ferries to the Islands, restaurants and shops right in the historic district of Yarmouth Port.
Paul and Carina were very knowledgaeble about the Cape and extremely helpful with suggestions for places to visit, restaurant recommendations etc.
The three rooms (all suites) were immaculately clean, with very comfortable sitting areas and beds with luxury linens.
Paul's breakfasts were wonderful each day with delicious, freshly baked goods and the little extras like, water and treats in each room were very welcome. We also enjoyed watching movies in our room, using their DVD library
We are looking to our return someday soon
Thanks for your review- we are looking forward to your return visit next year!
We arrived at The Kings Inne B&B in Yarmouth Port, with a hire car and without a booking. Easy to get to on the corner of Vesper and 6A, on the left as you go east.
By the time I’d sorted the blessed boot release, Karin had sorted our 2 night stay. Paul & Carina were expecting to be closed but made us immediately and unstintingly welcome. We took the 1st floor (2nd floor in US speak) Kensington and found the room absolutely delightful and very comfortable. All the amenities we needed and plenty of cupboard space.
Breakfasts were homemade, gorgeous and filling. Taken late at a leisurely pace they certainly set me up for the day, and I know a thing or two about breakfasts…
We’d gone to the Cape because we’re antique-y people, if not antique people, and Paul kindly put us on the trail of a couple of places on Route 6A that we had missed, in Sandwich, on the way down.
We ate out both nights, at the Yarmouth Inn (walkable) and at the Lyric restaurant (drive). Different ambience but good quality food at each and we enjoyed both.
To me, the only downside of TKI was the large mirror in the bathroom, DIRECTLY opposite the shower – sadly, it showed with dreadful clarity just what shape I am in!
Absolutely recommended and we hope to revisit.
Thanks so much for your great review- we really enjoyed your company- hope to see you this side of the pond again soon.
When you first walk into this charming home you feel a sense of warmth just like coming home except better. There are so many beautiful things to take in. And besides all the wonderful tangibles it was the untangibles that I loved even more. The smell of home-cooking in the mornings, the lovely faint sounds of clocks ticking, the warmth of the heat coming from the wooden floors just felt grand. Carina and Paul (owners) make sure you are very comfortable without being intrusive. They put their heart and soul into the foods they prepare and the upkeep of their lovely Inne. And then the little amenities that you can enjoy throughout the day is the icing on the cake!
Thank you for your lovely review- we are happy we made your stay so comfortable and hope you will visit us again.
As a frequent visitor to Bed and Breakfast locations thoughtout the United States...this B&B really stood out. Not only was the B&B located in a wonderful place...Cape Cod, MA...but the Inne itself left you wanting for NOTHING. The owners Paul and Carina, are a wonderful couple from England who go out of their way and truly way above the norm to make sure everything is to your liking. The accomedations at The Kings Inne are superb...high class and first rate. The rooms are unbelievably spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The linens were wonderfully soft and smelled fantastic! My room even had bottles of water and snacks for me to enjoy when I returned. I have never in my many trips to B&B locations seen the attention to a meal that these owners give breakfast. Breakfast was not only fabulously delicious...but was almost too beautifully prepared to eat!! The amazing smells will have you diving in with abandon!! The owners are a walking encylopedia of information about the cape and can give you wonderful suggestions on ways to spend your time there. Their recomendations made for a truly fantastic vacation for me. The Kings Inne will certainly be a return destination for me for years to come. Thank you Paul and Carina...it was a piece of heaven here on earth!!!
Thank you so much for review, we truly enjoyed having you stay and look forward to your next visit- which we hope will be soon!
