“Best B&B We've Stayed In :-)”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

In the past few years my friend and I have stayed in well over a dozen b&b's in several foreign countries as well as the US. Our choices have been largely been made after reading reviews from TripAdvisor. We both felt that our stay at Kings Inne was the BEST! First of all, for our visit to Cape Cod, the location was perfect as it was centrally located , and convenient for traveling throughout the Cape. The breakfasts prepared by Paul were amazing. It was hard to believe how each day the meal could be better than the day before. The Inne was immaculate, warm and very homey. Carina was helpful in making recommendations and reservations. Since this was our first visit to the Cape, this was very helpful to us. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Its better than any five star hotel.

Room Tip: There are only three rooms and all are suites, very spacious , great beds. We were in the Windsor Su...

My husband, myself and another couple revisited the Kings Inne August , 2013. We first stayed there in 2010. When we decided to revisit Cape Cod there was no discussion as to where we would stay, we would return "home". This is how I feel staying at this Inne. The rooms and Inne have been updated since our last visit and even lovelier the second time around. What is important to me is cleaniness and comfort this Inne fits that bill. Both Carina and Paul are wonderful hosts, very accomodating to your needs. The breakfast each morning is something to look forward to - just delicious. The Inne's location is central so sightseeing and Restaurants are convenient to location. When we return to Cape Cod there is no doubt we will stay at Kings Inne again.

Room Tip: Kings Inne is a Bed and Breakfast consisting of 3 room choices. Each Room has been updated. They ar...

My wife and I (and another couple) decided to visit Cape Cod again after an absence of three years. No research was necessary - we chose to stay at the King's Inne again, based on our superb experience in 2010. It was a wise choice - the Inne is still beautiful (even more so, with the upgrades that have been added), Carina and Paul Lewis were gracious as always, and our stay at this immaculate B&B was wonderful. There are many places to stay on Cape Cod, but very few will offer the magnificent experience of the Kings Inne, with its kind and generous hosts, outstanding suites, gourmet breakfasts, very reasonable pricing, and convenient (central Cape) location. In addition, Carina and Paul are launching a new project - adding an entire home adjacent to the Inne that will be available for guest rental. Knowing those two, this new building will be spectacular. We already want to go back to Yarmouth Port!

My husband and I had decided to visit the Cape for the first time for our 1 year anniversary at the end of June. We only stayed for 2 nights, and will definitely be back! We had decided to stay at the Kings Inne after reading many great reviews , having wanted to try a bed and breakfast.
We were blown away with the beautiful Inne and the excellent hosts; Paul & Carina. Carina was very welcoming as soon as we arrived, welcomed us with a glass of wine and offered to help us make reservations for the next few days. She had recommended and made reservations to excellent restaurants. The room was very clean, no complaints at all. The outside garden area was beautiful, we sat outside one evening with two other couples that were staying at the Inne. It was such a great time.
The breakfasts that Paul made every morning were over the top. Plenty of coffee, tea, juice along with your multi-course breakfast. You would never leave the table hungry in the morning. You could smell the delicious breakfast as soon as you would wake up in the morning. It was amazing!
You will not be disappointed with your stay at The Kings Inne.

We are so happy that you decided to spend your first anniversary here and that you enjoyed your stay. It was great that the other couples staying were similar ages to you and that you were able to socialize with them in our gardens. Thank you so much for taking the time to review our B and B, we hope you will return for many years to come!

My wife and I have just completed a road trip around NY state and ending on the cape. We stayed in mainly B & Bs as usual, we feel that you get a warmer welcome and great local knowledge. Our final destination was Yarmouth Port on historic Rte 6A where we had the pleasure of staying with Carina and Paul at the Kings Inne for 4 nights. What a great place beautifully decorated , right in the heart of the cape and ideal for visiting all the sights and within walking distance of some great restaurants. Carina gave us some great advice and arranged bookings for us where necessary (saving on our uk mobile phone bills) all the recommendations turned out superbly. Paul is the chef and turned out some of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. By the time we left it was like saying goodbye to old friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Kensington room which has a wonderful claw footed roll top bath.

My Wife and I stayed at the Kings Inne for 4 nights at the end of June 2013. We could not have been made more welcome. Paul and Carina work hard at making your stay as perfect as possible. The accommodation was spot on, clean, stylish and well appointed. We stayed in the ground floor room with separate sitting area. Breakfasts were a highlight, varied, healthy and plentiful. I cannot rate the Kings Inne enough. A gem of a place!

Room Tip: We loved the ground floor room, but all are well appointed and stylish.

My family of five gathered to spend three nights on the Cape and, (following the advice of those Trip Advisor Reviewers who had gone before us), we stayed at The King's Inne. What a wonderful choice it turned out to be. Yarmouth Port is a scenic little town that is well-situated to give easy access to many other locations on the Cape. And the Inne....what can you say about a place that is very nearly perfect? Paul and Carina lovingly and meticulously tend this small, beautiful B&B. The Inne has three suites, each with a private bath and either a sitting room or a sitting area (you can trust the photos on the website) and a soft and inviting bed (two queens and one king). The public area of the Inne also has a dining and living area for guest use. Paul and Carina's home is beyond the glass door into the kitchen which means that though they live on the premises you very much feel that the house is yours while you're there. In fact reserving all three suites creates the perfect getaway for family or friends, giving you all the privacy of sharing your own home with none of the work! The yard is equally welcoming and we sat outside each evening after the heat of the day had passed and enjoyed Paul's lovely garden. In the mornings we were treated to Paul's even more lovely breakfasts! Each day on a beautifully set table we were presented with endless (and good) hot coffee, juice, home baked goods and a different multi-course breakfast. One morning it was waffles covered in bananas, strawberries and whipped cream, the next it was a fresh fruit plate followed by an egg and sausage strata, and the last it was fruit and yogurt parfaits, omelets and bacon. Again, the pictures on the website do not lie, and everything tasted as good as it looked. Carina had terrific advice on dining, excursions and just where to go for a lovely walk and she struck exactly the right chord as a host--warm, friendly, informative but never overpowering.

The King's Inne is a wonderful place to spend a few days, or longer if you're lucky, and as I write this review I realize that it's not 'very nearly perfect' it IS perfect.

Room Tip: One queen suite is on the first floor facing the street but was always quiet. The other two are on...

Thank you so much for your review, it is always wonderful to hear to how our guests enjoyed their stay with us. Having three suites means you, like some other of our guests who book the whole inn were able to really relax in a home away from home and "have the run of the place".
It was great to meet you and your family and we hope that we will see you another time-thank you once again, it is very much appreciated!
