With only three suites, the King's Inne is the place to go for quiet relaxation, excellent location, and cozy charm. We were there for two nights for a cousin's wedding and wished that we could have stayed longer. The innkeepers, Paul and Carina, could not have been more helpful or attentive. Paul even drove a guest to the wedding reception when our friend couldn't find the location on his own. Breakfast was outstanding and there was so much of it, we didn't eat again until evening. Stay here, you will love it.

As victims of the European volcano, we were forced to spend 10 days in the USA on our way back to Switzerland. As luck would have it, we were able to make the most of this and ended up choosing to see Cape Cod, a much heard of area, but never seen.
We had not booked any accommodation, thinking that being there out of season would mean that all hotel and B&B rooms would be waiting for us. After driving around for a while, we realised many were closed; which brought us to the door of The Kings Inne in Yarmouth. Finding owner Paul, in the garden, we explained that we were looking for a place to stay and found out that they (he and his wife Carina) were about to start their first season as B&B owners, but were not yet open. To cut a long story short, they decided to open early and welcomed us into their home. Both were warm and easy to talk to and were genuinely keen to do as much as they could to help make our stay (in the B&B and the area) enjoyable. They were able to recommend great restaurants, beaches and activities, which all turned out well. The room was beautiful, with plenty of space and an incredibly comfortable bed. Despite being on the 6A road, we did not hear a single road noise. I think the bathroom was recently renovated and included a fantastic shower. there were many little touches that make a big difference to a stay in a B&B and the complimentary water (and well stocked soft drinks fridge under the stairs), Swiss chocolates and local snacks were an unexpected surprise. One of the great highlights, however, were the breakfasts, which cemented the "value for money" element of our stay. Paul takes obvious delight in producing delicious home made fare, with one of our favorites being the nut bread. I would definitely recommend a stay with Paul and Carina at The Kings Inne and if we find our way back to Cape Cod again, will be booking a room there.

With no more volcanic action recently we fear you may not get stranded here again but we hope your travels bring you back to stay with us to discover more of the Cape. It was a real pleasure to have you as our very first guests. Thank you for your review!

Recently renovated, this is an attractive B and B located on 6A within walking distance of the Edward Gorey House Museum and the best sushi restaurant on the Cape.
Rooms are quite large and attractively furnished with personal touches of British charm.
Rooms are actually a bedroom (king size bed) and a sitting room, equipped with cable tv and dvd player. Hosts provide a wide selection of movies on dvd.
The hosts were friendly and solicitious and served up a great breakfast.
We will return.

My partner and I spent the weekend at the Kings Inne with my parents and had a great experience. The two rooms we rented were suites with a bedroom, bath and living room area (two of the three are like this) and this layout was great for everyone. The Inn was very clean and comfortable and our hostess was very accomodating. Given that there are just 3 rooms, we really had the run of the place - bringing in takeout to the dining room and reading in the living room. The innkeeper was not only friendly, but helped us with directions, take-out recommendations, accomodated our comings and goings, brought us out dishes for our dinners and was just plain helpful. The rooms and whole house is very clean and comfortable, may be over-decorated for those with more modern tastes. Chips and water and a little fridge with drinks were a nice addition.

Yarmouthport is centrally located so there were many beaches in the area, but about an hour drive to the national seashore. The sushi place two blocks away is AWESOME (seriously some of the best sushi we've had) but VERY SLOW (took two hours for takeout).
The only down-side for us coffee snobs was that the coffee maker made a first strong cup and then many weak cups after.

Mary Baker went out of her way to be hospitable. The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was well balanced, large and tasty. But the best part was that Mary outfitted us with beach umbrellas, chairs and towels and even offered to drive us to the beach to avoid the parking hassle. Most impressive!
