This is a wonderful cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Sitting in the middle of a mostly-residential street, one is surprised at this house-like remake restaurant. The exterior is pleasant, but the interior is sauve, more like a small NYC cafe. The bar area is cozy, other seating is eclectic- take note of the painted cement floor and garden benches. With a recent party of four, we were treated to many items on the menu. I had a cranberry salad, which was a perfect mix of fruit, nuts and greens. (See picture - it was beautiful). One doesn't usually comment about dressing, but it was superb! Also sample was the filet mignon - cooked perfectly - and crab cakes. The evening special was Beef Brisket in Mediterranean Sauce which was nicely presented, but blanketed in too much sauce. The waitstaff is friendly as are the prices. This is a must-do for savory ,fresh, fabulous cooking!
