What a special place!!
Gale and Frank are extremely gracious Inn-keepers, who have every base covered when it comes to making your stay unforgettable.
The breakfast in the morning is DELICIOUS!! not to mention the cookies, coffee, wine and crackers. Fabulous touches.
They made a very special occasion even more memorable.
We loved every minute of it.

My stay at The Historic Webster House will always be a wonderful memory. Travelling with another woman on the way to Mackinac Island I chose Bay City as a fine place to stay overnight. I only wish we had been able to stay much longer! Everything was so good - wine and cheese and delightful innkeepers started the visit. While sipping wine we were able to read books about the city and the house and the history of the area and appreciate the comfortable sitting room. As for our bedrooms - Wow! is the only possible way to describe them - beautifully furnished, spotless, down filled matresses, armchairs, DVD available (didn't use it but it is a sign of just how much the host and hostess care about their guests). And only one word describes breakfast - gourmet - specially the cookies, fresh fruit, cardomon loaf - delicious, leisurely, ewverything made to order. The result of our visit is that we have in mind another stay when next we head to Michigan. Mamy thanks to Gail and Frant - the ultimate innkeepers. Joan and Sylvia, Canadian travellers

This wins the prize for the most wonderful B&B we've visited in Michigan (and we've stayed at several on this trip up north) -- homemade cookies, lovely wine and cheese, great bed, jacuzzi in the room, gracious and accommodating hosts, delicious breakfast. What more could we ask for..... okay, it was a long haul up carrying duffle bags up those stairs-- but it was worth it! Wow! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the historic B&B in Bay City Mi. We stayed in the Webster room and it was fantastic!! The Jacuzzi tub was awesome, and the feather top bed was out of this world. Speaking of out of this world we got a chance to visit the Planetarium and it is very cool... We originally went for the viewing of the tall ships and had a great time doing the tour of those old ships and would recommend any one that get's a chance to see them should.... The innkeepers Gail and Frank are so thoughtful and made us feel right at home..this was our first time at a bed and breakfast so we didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be a very comfortable experience.... Frank has such a good sense of humor...and Gail works her butt off making sure everything is just right for all her guests...and what a wonderful job she does... My husband and I weren't even celebrating our upcoming wedding anniversary but Gail noticed the date on the form we filled out telling her a little about our selfs and had a cake for us in our room when we arrived.. what a nice touch... We also rented the hot tub sauna package for a day and it was great... so all in all my experience was wonderful... Oh ya last but not least they are the best breakfast makers in the world.. yummmy... I came home and had my husband make me blueberry pancakes and he laughed and said what do you think you are still at the Webster Bed and Breakfast...LOL not after i ate his pancakes compared to theirs.. just joking honey...

This is a delightful place to stay. We chose the Nodoka Room, which was spacious and comfortable, and we especially loved the Jacuzzi tub with the bubble bath and bath salts to go with it. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are the best we have ever had, and they are available all evening, which makes them hard to resist. Wine and cheese were served in the late afternoon. Breakfast was very good, and there are plenty of tables if you want to dine alone or ask other guests to join you, if you should so choose. Frank and Gail graciously showed us around the house, and even allowed us to see the other rooms if they were unoccupied. On Wednesday evenings in the summer, there are free concerts in the park on the waterfront, just a short walk down the road. We would love to return, and since there are so many rooms to choose from, guests can return and every visit can be a new experience.

Room Tip: Limited parking, so get there early if you want to park in their private lot. Bring a sweater, it c...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this historic 1880s B&B in Bay City. Our room was very comfortable and the adjoining bathroom was large. The whole establishment was very clean.
The breakfasts were delicious with more than adequate amounts of food. Complimentary wine and cheese were served in the early evening and homemade cookies were always available. We especially liked the cooler with wine, sodas, and water available anytime near the rooms. Our innkeepers, Gail and Frank, were very friendly and gracious. The student intern, Scarlett, was very helpful as well. This B&B was within easy walking distance of downtown Bay City. We stayed there the weekend of our 40th wedding anniversary and were even surprised with a small cake in our room.

Home was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and restoration got all the details right. The room we stayed in (judge's chamber) was in the gables, which was part of its charm, but the low-clearance, sloping ceilings might be a problem for tall guests. We didn't look at which room we were placed in ahead of time (and only bumped our heads a couple of times--ha!), so this wasn't a big deal. Loved the homemade cookies in the parlor--kept raiding the cookie jar! We had a wonderful stay!
