I was a bit concerned hearing that the candy was old, tasted old in the last review. So this spring (a week after Easter) we sampled penny candy on through (it was our duty, we swear!) We even bought one of the huge homemade chocolate roses. Wonderful! The homemade popcorn balls we shared as gifts after sampling, which garnered more praises from all our friends that we gave them to! Anytime I find myself having to take M25 (Johnson St is right off it, shop is to the left when heading north) we are stopping!! (I took a photo, but haven't figured out how to load it here from facebook)

It was just a quick turn off M25 and what a little gem! Everything from penny candy to homemade goodies! We're going to make it a regular stop on our way to Michgan's thumb!

This actually is an excellent candy/ice-cream store. Old style classic candy, chocolate stuff by the pound that I think is homemade or at least handmade, tons of bulk candy.. it's a ton of fun. Highly recommended!
