“Mediterranean Bliss on a budget!”
Reviewed 5 February 2012

Always consistently great food, and wonderfully fresh! My very favorites are the Mujadra (cooked lentils with friend onions and yogurt) and the Chicken Shwarma sandwich (don't chicken out on the pickle... it is an awesome addition to the taste!) The service is fast and friendly, and if you want to carry out, your oder will be well managed! All in all a great spot for classic Mediterranean fare!

“Basic Mideast Food, but Always Good”
Reviewed 4 January 2012

There are no special surprices here, but we are never disappointed with our food or service here. If you are in a mood for Mideastern cuisine, then Pita Cafe is as good a choice as any. Given that it is one of the less expensive dining options in Birmingham is a plus too if you are heading to a movie or bar afterwards.

“Very good middle eastern cuisine”
Reviewed 11 December 2011

We went here for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The cafe is not roomy but the staff was helpful in accommodating four adults and 2 children. Service was courteous and prompt. We enjoyed a variety of dishes such as shawarma sandwiches, hummus with awesome pita bread, grape leaves, wonderful juices, lentil soup and other flavorful features. All was prepared very well and featured tangy flavors unique to this cuisine. Prices are a good value - well worth it.

“I love Pita Cafe down on...”
Reviewed 16 January 2009

I love Pita Cafe down on 11 mile - it has fresh bread straight from the oven which is outstanding. This one does not and it drops it two stars for me.
