Great lunch entrees with very friendly service. The menu is good but the daily specials were great. Prices are quite high but the quality was exceptional in all respects. Very good choice for a nice lunch.

Nice little romantic place. Good food. Good service. Not great for kids. If it's busy you may have to wait a while. It's a small place. Check it out if you have time

If you like seafood and small cozy restaurants you'll love street side. It's smack in the middle of downtown Birmingham so can get very crowded on a summer weekend night. Small bar and some open air seating. Not inexpensive But good array of choices on the menu. Upscale clientele. My husband loves this place! Might have to park in structure just south ~ one block. Have a drink and or dinner here and go see a movie at the palladium or shop. Fun night out.

This is a Bill Roberts Restaurant and he and his staff have their game very much together. He has five restaurants in the area and each is distinct from the others. He also has a "long game" and his planning of space, ambiance and menu shows. Streetside was his first restaurant on his own and it's always crowded on a street with lots of competition. It is small and a bit tight, but that's part of its charm. The bar scene at the front is upscale and a good show. It specializes in fish and very good wines which are both featured with changing specials. The prime seats are two booths at the very back. Enjoy.

Delicious trout and very good filet of beef. Nice wine selection. Good service. We prefer to sit up front as it is cheerier.
