This is our fifth annual stay at this KOA. We had a great time as always. Be warned though that the jumping pillow is in full sun and was unusable when the sun was out. Also they no longer offer daily coffee and waffles. We were very disappointed. We were told that it was offered on a donation basis and they were not getting enough donations to cover the cost. Although we had fun, we will most likely stay somewhere else next time. The owners are very nice and so is most of the staff. Pool is very clean and was the perfect temperature. Restrooms are kept clean but do have a musty smell do to poor ventilation although they run fans 24 hours a day to keep air moving and the floors dry.

My husband and I both 26 stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The campground was at full capacity. We stayed in a tent in the rustic tent area. This area is in the woods and very private. All other sites are less private and grassy. The people who run this cg are very helpful and ready to assist you. They have one bath house which at times got busy but I never waited more than 5 minutes for the hot shower. There are about 5 private showers and 4 bathroom stalls. There is also a laundromat with several washers and dryers. If you forget anything the camp store offers most all items at a very reasonable price, some items even cheaper than the store. They offer coffee and waffles every morning from 830-930. Firewood can be purchased for $5 a bundle and ice for $2. It is about a 25 minute drive to Traverse City depending on traffic. I would stay here again. Very nice, clean, good price. Be aware you can hear traffic from the road. Didn't seem to bother us though.
