Very nice, place to stay while visiting the area. About 20-25 minutes from traverse city. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. That was fine bye me. Small KOA, but very accommodating to your needs. Friendly staff and seasonals who didn't act like you weren't supposed to be there. We will be going back this summer

Our group is here each year the first week in May. We love this place. The amount of improvements each year is so refreshing to see. The cabins and lodge come with a patio, firepits, patio, and much more inside. A great family place. The owners are wonderful. Thanks and see you next year.

We stayed up here for labor day and they had all sorts of things going on! We took my little sister with us camping and she really enjoyed the play areas that this KOA had. Very nice staff, well equipped store, clean pool and facilities. All around great experience!

We rented a cabin October 2013 during our trip to Traverse City. The cabin was brand new! It sleeps four - two in bunks in a small room and two in the main room. It comes with microwave, refridgerator, AC/heat, TV, table for four, bathroom, gas grill outside, and a fire pit. You need to bring food and any dishes or cookware. It was a nice place, but the bed wasn't that comfortable. Other than that, great place!

We rented one of the cabins because we were in town for a wedding and it's easier to look nice and spiffy from a building than from a tent. The cabin was clean and comfortable and close to the rest room. There was a nice porch and swing that we thoroughly enjoyed too.

So glad you had a wonderful time at our KOA! Those porch swings are one of the little things we try and provide for every guest that goes above and beyond. All we hear is how people love them and enjoy relaxing outside with that fresh Michigan air. Hope you'll be back soon!

The people are friendly. Bathroom/Showers clean. We love the deluxe sites we are in a mtrhome. The fact they are so pet friendly is another plus. Cute things for the children. Maybe reinforcing the quiet rules would be a plus . I know they can only tell them so many times. This only happened this past Labor Day weekend . A few kids very spiteful about following rules. The KOA is all paved and that is GREAT. We love it because we do not have to travel too far. They will deliver wood (reasonal) to your site and pick up garbage as well. Nice pool as well. Love it

We're so glad you enjoyed your recent stay with us! Our deluxe sites are one of the most requested places in the entire park and we're always looking to add more if there is a need. We do our best to enforce quiet time but once in awhile we run into issues on our busiest weekends. Please accept our apologies that and know we'll continue to work hard enforcing them. Hope you'll come back and see us again soon!

Small Cabin rental for one week in Summer. Arrived after 11pm and the key pick up are was well lit with easy directions to the cabin. Cabin was very clean, as were the mattresses. Staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Shower/bathroom facilities were in greyt shape and kept well cleaned. No rowdy neighbors. Very pleasant experience and I will definitely come back for the next Traverse City Film Fest and stay here.

Room Tip: The small cabin has no bathroom but the facilities are a short walk away and very clean.
