We ate an early lunch upon the suggestion of a local while driving through town. It did not disappoint. Many beers to choose from and a menu full of variety. We opted to split a pizza. There were four of us dining and we ordered two different pizzas. So glad we only stuck with two as they are quite large! The diners next to us each ordered one and were shocked with the size. I would definitely say they feed 2-3 people. We tried the Pesto Chicken and the Sausage with Goat Cheese. Excellent flavor! My one complaint was that I kept getting tonguefuls of flour. I would much rather have corn meal used than flour for keeping the pizza sliding into and out-of the ovens. The service was zippy when we arrived, but as the lunch crowd arrived, it did take an exceptionally long time to get our bill. I can’t wait to try other items on future visits as we will be back.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting relatives in town. They do some pretty creative things with their offerings-we tried the Philly Steak quesadilla and the turkey sandwich with cranberries and candied pecans. We also ordered the calamari and the fish tacos as appetizers. They were out in a flash and were fresh. colorful and inviting. The beer selection (and the prices) were pretty amazing. This is not brew pub as others have noted. They do not brew their own, but they have a dandy selection of ales, beers and ciders.
A caution for older folk-There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the place, but the only way up into the restaurant is a very steep set of stairs. If somebody can drop you off street side before they park, you'll have a much easier time of it.

We pulled in to Cadillac on our way to the UP and saw this place. It was appealing even from the street. Friendly and accommodating staff, fun atmosphere, seating inside or out. And then dinner came. Excellent. All of us ordered different items and each one was better than the one before. Go. You'll enjoy it.

This place is an excellent addition to the northern Michigan pub scene. Amazing food and excellent service. Beer selection is very interesting serving mainly Michigan Beers, a bonus for us! If you are traveling to Traverse City, or even staying in Traverse City, you do need to head on into this place. If is kind of a funky location, stuck in downtown Cadillac, but once you are inside you will certainly enjoy yourself. Pizza, good. Burgers, good. Quesadillas, good. Kids menu, good. Very affordable and work a visit. We will certainly keep this on our family regular restaurant list, it is a nice change from TC and even better priced! Thanks, Clam Lake!!!!!

No BBQs for us, we went to Clam Lake for dinner. I had the turkey Panini and my husband had the hamburger. Both were excellent, plenty to eat. We each tried a craft beer and liked it very much even though we are not beer drinkers (when in Rome). Service was great, no problems and for once a restaurant had enough staff. Would recommend highly.
