We've enjoyed both lunch and breakfast here. The beef brisket and hand-cut fries are superb. And you'd better be hungry or you'll be taking half of it home for supper. Their breakfast was good, but the brisket at lunch is a real jewel. You have your choice of mild or spicy BBQ sauce served on the side. However, the brisket's flavor can stand on its own just as well. Their meat smoker is set up along the side of the restaurant and lures folks in when walking by. Sandwiches are served on home-made bread. Mac and cheese is just like grandma's.
For those of you who are dog owners, there is shady parking along the front of the restaurant, and they have a nice big bowl of fresh, cool water under the trees. It's only 1/2 block to the marina park or to the drawbridge/canal path.
