My wife and I had a delightful stay here for our wedding anniversary. The Inn was meticulously restored by its owners Jim and Kim Myles and staying here is like taking a trip back in time. We were surrounded by period pieces and antique touches everywhere, while enjoying all the modern amenities and even a claw-foot tub in our room (the Glazier Suite).
The owners even provide a turndown service with chocolates on the pillows.
In the morning Jim prepared his signature fruit crepes, that were just the first course of a wonderful breakfast.
Staying here is the perfect complement to the other two not-to-be-missed activities in Chelsea, a dinner around the corner at the Common Grill (owned by chef Craig Common) and a play at The Purple Rose Theatre (owned by Jeff Daniels).
For families, there is the Carriage House, attached to the Inn, which has a separate bedroom, a full kitchen and a living room with a pullout, queen-size sofa.
