“Loved the Jacuzzi Tubs”
Reviewed 23 July 2010

A geat location to access the Birch Run outlet mall and Frankenmuth. We received a warm welcome from the hostess Megan and there were all kinds of complimentary drinks and snacks for the weary traveller. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi tub melted away all the days stressors and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was generous. There was fruit, apple pancakes, sausage, juice, and great coffee. Parking is onsite and we got easy directions to get to the next destination. A lovely place to stay.

Shawna, her husband Dan, the cook Shonda, and the business manager Tonya made my 78 year old Mother and I feel like royalty at the Stone House Bed and Breakfast! We were there 6 nights for the steam train festival in nearby Owosso. The rooms were so comfortable, each with their own full bathroom as well as their own private hot tub. The food was not only out-of-this-world-wonderful, but Shonda made sure our special diets were followed as well. And the rates were very reasonable, especially if you consider the wonderful breakfasts!

We were in mid-Michigan for a funeral and I was admitted to the hospital while there. Thus the title. However, Rob and Julie more than helpful, empathic, and caring hosts. Great house and great food also helped save the weekend. One could only imagine the fun if it hadn't otherwise been a sad and sick weekend.
Highly recommended.

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas in a town I was born in! I had heard about the Stone House but did not expect it exceed my expectations to the degree it did. To start, the house is beautiful, spotless, in wonderful condition, close to the business district, down the street from the Heritage House(fine dining), about a block from the Showboat Lounge and Malt Shop and on the main blvd. The hosts, Bob and Julie could not be a more perfect couple to run such an establishment. Breakfasts were gourmet level and different each day of our 5 day stay! The pantry was open to all and included fresh baked cookies, coffee, teas, fridge full of water and soft drinks, biscotti, popcorn, and videos to watch in the room. Bob even accomodated my parents at breakfast one of the mornings even though he had other guests. Rooms are small, but very accomodating to large, roomy and nearly self contained. Our visit was so enhanced by staying at the Stone House and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a storybook evening and rested stay.
