“plenty rooms for a big family and very comfortable.”
Reviewed 6 March 2017 for a stay in April 2016

Great location, not far from the beaches and city centre. Equipped all the facilities you need - dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc. Clean and comfortable beds. Nice backyard garden . Good Wi-Fi coverage. We went for archery which are only 20 mins drive away and met with Major-tallest dog in the world (he's really huge). Really enjoy our stay and definitely will visit again :) .

An excellent place to stay and a short drive to Swansea. All the rooms were huge and the customer service was excellent. The cleaners forgot to leave out tea towels for us and we contacted Sylvia who sorted it immediately x

Spacious comfortable family suitable home, equipped for everything you might need.....apart from limited towels! Only allocated 1 towel per person, with an additional 3 provided as long as you launder them yourself before you go home (washing machine and dryer provided but I'm on holiday and laundry is not top of my agenda haha) - seriously not a problem if prewarned before arrival as I would have packed extra of our own....an insignificant detail honestly but thought other guests might find it useful to know. The house is spacious and homely, more than large enough for 8 people, clean (a little dated and showing signs of age) but very well equipped with a huge catalogue of dvds and books and board games, clean comfy beds, and a lovely garden with plenty of outside seating. The neighbour David is very helpful and welcoming and the locals very friendly. The welcome file is packed with everything you need to know along with 4 pages of explanation of the Welsh way of refuse and recycling collection (thank God for our student graduating after 3 years of living here to explain further lol)
Fantastic communication from the owners with details before arrival, and an overall great stay in good value accomodation
15 minutes away from Swansea city centre and the mumbles, and a fabulous good quality Hungry Horse only 5 minutes drive away (20 minutes walk if you don't mind hills!)

Hi Diane - Many thanks for your review, I'm pleased you enjoyed your holiday and felt the accommodation was good value for money. Apologies for your difficulties with the towels. We used to provide a hand towel as well but found these often appeared not to have been used but still had to be laundered. Leaving them in a separate cupboard gives people the choice. There should certainly have been at least 8 extra towels available at the property and I will follow this up urgently with the as I replaced a number only a few weeks ago so I know there were plenty then.

The towels which we ask people to wash and replace are so that people have the option of a towel to take to the beach. With washing powder, a washer and dryer they can just be popped in and left (this also reduces cleaning costs to keep our prices as reasonable as possible). I think you have a good point that we should let visitors know this before arrival so beach towels can be packed if preferred and I will add it to the information so it is clear what should be available. Thank you again for your feedback. Sylvia Mawby.

Many thanks for your positive review. We are glad to hear that you had a great holiday, and enjoyed staying at the property. I think you may be the first to have taken advantage of the flight over the Gower, I bet it was breath taking! We think we are very lucky with our position between Swansea and the Gower, offering the best benefits of both, and we are pleased that you agree.
