We were going to a wedding and we're looking for somewhere where all the family could stay close to the wedding venue and not too far away from the beach or moors. The house was lovely and well equipped, , loads of room for everyone. Next time it will be with my grandchildren.
This was a great location for us, as we were spending time on the Gower as well as in Swansea and Mumbles. The house is very spacious, with both a dining area and eat-in kitchen, 3 living areas, and a sunny conservatory. We have 2 kids so all the toys and games were very welcome. We had everything we needed to cook a number of meals in the house, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space. It was warm enough for us to eat one meal on the patio and the kids enjoyed running around the garden. This one's a winner!
Lovely place to stay lots to do near by , would recomend staying at this house , very clean and tidy .
Great location, not far from the beaches and city centre. Equipped all the facilities you need - dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc. Clean and comfortable beds. Nice backyard garden . Good Wi-Fi coverage. We went for archery which are only 20 mins drive away and met with Major-tallest dog in the world (he's really huge). Really enjoy our stay and definitely will visit again :) .
An excellent place to stay and a short drive to Swansea. All the rooms were huge and the customer service was excellent. The cleaners forgot to leave out tea towels for us and we contacted Sylvia who sorted it immediately x
Spacious comfortable family suitable home, equipped for everything you might need.....apart from limited towels! Only allocated 1 towel per person, with an additional 3 provided as long as you launder them yourself before you go home (washing machine and dryer provided but I'm on holiday and laundry is not top of my agenda haha) - seriously not a problem if prewarned before arrival as I would have packed extra of our own....an insignificant detail honestly but thought other guests might find it useful to know. The house is spacious and homely, more than large enough for 8 people, clean (a little dated and showing signs of age) but very well equipped with a huge catalogue of dvds and books and board games, clean comfy beds, and a lovely garden with plenty of outside seating. The neighbour David is very helpful and welcoming and the locals very friendly. The welcome file is packed with everything you need to know along with 4 pages of explanation of the Welsh way of refuse and recycling collection (thank God for our student graduating after 3 years of living here to explain further lol)
Fantastic communication from the owners with details before arrival, and an overall great stay in good value accomodation
15 minutes away from Swansea city centre and the mumbles, and a fabulous good quality Hungry Horse only 5 minutes drive away (20 minutes walk if you don't mind hills!)
We stayed at gower edge for two weeks 5th-19th of July and were very lucky to get two superb weeks of sunshine and temeratures as good as the med the accommodation is spacious and fully geared up for large families and has all the amenities for self catering you are only ten minutes from Swansea City centre and its large shopping facilities but also situated nrar to some of the beautiful beaches but warning be prepared to climb up and down to some of theses there are loads of things to do fishing, walking and I myself went for a trip in an aircraft @ the nearby Swansea Airport what great views all around the Gower and Swansea bay ,archery& falconry all within about 30mins of Dunvant
