Fantastic spacious house right on the edge of the beautiful open moorland with the free roaming horses, cattle and sheep. The house is deceptively large and has 3 living rooms and a conservatory so plenty of spaces for the whole family. There are also lots of toys and games, the children didn't want to leave the house. Easy access to you the city centre and the beautiful Gower beaches.I will definitely be coming back.
The kitchen has everything you need and there are 4 large bedrooms.
Highly recommend Gower Edge

“Half Term on the Gower”
Reviewed 23 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

A spacious family home with an enclosed rear garden & situated only 20 minutes from the nearest beach. The house is a little tired cosmetically but it more than makes up for that in space and comfort. Well kitted out with pots & pans etc. Effective heating & hot water made it cosy and welcoming after a day out and about in the fresh February air! Dog friendly but doesn't smell of dogs which is nice!

“Spacious and well equipped house”
Reviewed 16 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gower Edge for the fortnight we were there in which we both visited friends who live the other side of Dunvant and enjoyed the attractions of the surrounding area. The house is spacious with four good sized bedrooms and comes well equipped, and with the added bonus of a local convenience store a few minutes walk away.
We would certainly recommend Gower Edge.

“What a great place to stay!”
Reviewed 6 April 2017 for a stay in July 2016

Gower Edge is a great place. My sons and I stayed here for a ten day surfing holiday and had a great time. The house is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped - whether that is the kitchen, the excellent array of books and DVDs or the bedrooms. We loved the garden and especially the conservatory which is always bright and warm. Great to have the off road parking too which makes it easy to unpack (or not!) after a day at the beach.

Thank you for your lovely comments. We're so glad you had a great stay. We do our best to make Gower Edge a home from home in terms of equipment etc. The surf is definitely an attraction of the Gower, whether you are riding it or enjoying it from the beach or cliff top! Hope to see you again one day. Yours, Sylvia Mawby

Reviewed 26 March 2017 for a stay in April 2016

We took our family (three generations) here last spring and loved our stay. Gower Edge was spacious, very well equipped, had a large child-friendly garden (enclosed and private) and was within driving distance of several interesting and often beautiful places. We had excellent communication from Sylvia beforehand, and a helpful neighbour as well. We would certainly recommend Gower Edge!

“Fabulous dog friendly house - ideal for visiting the Gower”
Reviewed 20 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Well equipped spacious lovely home for our week in Swansea to visit our daughter at the university. Gower Edge was the perfect base for walks and drives out to the beautiful sights of the Gower peninsula. We walked down to the beach one day along a safe path which I think was an old railway line, it took about 45 minutes and we had a welcome cup of tea at a beach café before heading back. There are a couple of takeaways just down the road (we tried both and the food was good) and a convenience store a few minutes walk away.
