I took the grandkids there over Christmas break. The large area was a hit for out 5 year old had a great time. As for the 2 year old the large structure was too much for him. He played on the small toddler area. Everything was clean and well organized. They have comfy couches for the adults. My only negative comment would be that the toddler area could be larger. Add a Starbucks and it would be an even bigger hit :)

To be honest, I was expecting more. The playland is about 3 times the size of your average McDonald's playland, along with a rock climbing wall (parental supervision advised), about a dozen arcade games (each turn is $1, using a prepaid card, not cash), a small concession stand, large eating area, and for goodness sakes, a liquor bar for adults! The cost was $10 for the day, although an hour was plenty with a 3.5 year old grandchild. No bounce house, no other activities. On the plus side, an attendant was constantly disinfecting the playland, and you and your child get a wristband with your last name on it. This is checked upon exit, so that only your child leaves with you. Good security in that aspect. Fort Clarkston is located in an outdoor shopping strip. Might be good for birthday parties.

Had taken our grandson to Mini Moe's Indoor Playground in Traverse City so was delighted when Fort Clarkston opened this past fall. We were here just before Christmas on a day when Santa was there. There are two types of play areas, one for toddlers and one for older children. It is clean and safe and looks like a great place to host birthday parties. Will definitely return.
