My wife and I stopped at Stoagie's in Coldwater for brunch last month. I had granola french toast, potatoes etc., and my wife had a plate of tuna salad and two other salads. the food was very good, service was very good, and prices were reasonable. Recommended.

...and stop here. Just off I-69 at the Coldwater exit, toward Coldwater. The rather small place is in a wonderful lovingly-converted early 1900s house. We were there about an hour before close, and happened to get lunch (breakfast would have been an option, though, if that's important to you on a Sunday afternoon). The breakfasts seemed to be the draw, and we saw many being served and enjoyed. A wonderfully diverse menu. The sandwiches were great, served with salad or fries. They make their soup in house (was disappointed however that a house-made salad dressing wasn't an option). Handicap accessible, well lit, clean, plenty of parking in a small lot or on a side street. Efficient, friendly staff.

Locally owned and operated, Stoagies has a nice atmosphere. It is small, but not cramped, has nice facilities and an "I'm at home." kind of feeling. Very nice.

I've been going there for Saturday breakfast on and off for a couple of years now. The food is good with the exception of their standard breakfast potatoes. If you ask for the "special" potatoes, they will accommodate. This is an unadvertised item. Their rye toast is my favorite. Very buttery. My nose is turned up to all "white breaders".
