Sue and Roy are delightful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed from 22-27 May. We went to the Bushcraft Show at Catton Park on Sat 24 May. Got a lift home as we had left the car in a very muddy field - hours before some were able to get out. Sue generously took us on Sunday back to the Show to collect it...another story... and also gave us a flask of coffee. We could have walked as only 3 miles. The breakfasts were delicious. Tea and coffee as and when you wanted it plus a dish of goodies to go with it, or fruit. Never got a chance to sit in the large garden, sadly. For food The Crown is well worth a visit, properly home cooked dishes, and is in walking distance from the cottage. A lovely village to walk around including a walk along the canal.
Can't speak highly enough about Sue and Roy. Thank you
