“Great Cafeteria - Lots of Choices”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

At Greenfield Village this is a cafeteria where you can buy a meal for the whole family. There are lots of choices, with a variety of options. There is a lot of historical decor themed around food and culinary equipment ... a fabulous wall display to enjoy if you have to wait in line.

“healthy lunch served”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

We had roasted chicken breast with choice of fresh vegetable, and it was delicious and a good value at $7.95. The opposite of junk food! We appreciated it!

“Nice selection of food”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Very nice cafeteria style restaurant serving both hot and cold mostly lunches. The sandwiches were prepared fresh and served with cole slaw and pickle. The food was very tasty. The prices were in the upper average range. For kids, they had a hobo lunch, complete with red bandana
and pole.

“Blah - leave the village and eat elsewhere”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

The food wasn't too over priced, but if you have a family you'd have happier kids and a heavier wallet if you packed or left the properties and ate elsewhere. Our daughter got sick from eating here since her gluten free food was somehow cross contaminated in the kitchen. We're not upset about the cross contamination - in a cafeteria style kitchen that's hard to avoid.

“Uninspired, cafeteria food with disinterested staff”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

The food was mediocre at best, the steak sandwich while warm was grisly and bland. The salads are served in a nice presentation type of bowl, whose bottom is so small that the bowl will easily tip over. The staff all seemed asleep, no smiles, no thank you's, and little regard for the enjoyment of the customer, disinterested is the most complimentary thing I can say about them. It was not a busy time, so workload should not have been an issue. It was clear that they didn't care for their jobs, or the customers. The building is one of the few which are minimally handicapped accesible, and it was air conditioned. Overall the entire day was rather poor, if you use a wheelchair, go elsewhere.
