I stayed here a few weeks for work. These are my complaints:
*I didn't want/need housekeeping every day. Some of the days I had the do not disturb sign out, I could tell they still went in my room. Do not disturb sign = do not enter my room!
*When I didn't have the do not disturb sign out (so I was requesting housekeeping), they wouldn't adequately clean! They didn't change my sheets, wipe anything down, or vacuum! The only housekeeping I could tell they did was emptied the trash, rearranged a few things, & replaced the towels & toiletries. Ridiculous.
*No laundry facilities, no pool, no mini-fridges or microwaves in rooms. I mean, come on, even America's Best Value Inn is putting mini-fridges & microwaves in their rooms!
*It's expensive & just all around inconvenient. People should be getting a lot more for the price Marriott is expecting people to pay.
*The views are good & there are good sized safes in the room, which I liked (however, I've heard safes were put in every room because so many items were being stolen out of rooms).
The entire place just seems a bit run down. There's lots of potential to be a world-class hotel, but there has to be a bigger/better investment. In its current state, I would not stay there again or recommend this place to others. It needs to improve.More
